'How we leave huh' Adeline began to ponder Ezekiel's question, there were many different ways to get back spread out throughout this world.
The land of Ariel developed portal travel over a century and had finally managed to send one person over to the Land of Humans a decade ago, who set up a portal between realms.
The Land of Ariel quickly realized that the humans in this world would be of no help in fighting the Entities, and decided to steal their resources.
They set up more and more portals all over hiding each one.
Although they were hidden some energy from the world leaked over causing what the humans believe to be mystical places throughout the world.
After checking, the closest portal seemed to be Banff National Park under the waterfall in a secret cave.
Adeline and Ezekiel were currently in Vancouver, and if they managed to catch a train it wouldn't be very hard to get there, 'although those four men from before may be able to find us it'll still be hard for them' Adeline thought after planning out their trip to Banff
"Banff, behind the waterfall" After telling Ezekiel about the portal, he had become silent.
Adeline also opted for silence, she felt awkward around him bordering embarrassed.
Although they didn't talk it was peaceful for Adeline. Ezekiel looked as if the rest of the world didn't matter to him and it gave off this feeling of seclusion.
But she knew it wouldn't last, it couldn't and even though she wanted to stay with Ezekiel she knew it wouldn't happen.
They quickly found a train and silently began to make their way towards Banff
Finally, the train stopped

"Here take this," Adeline said while handing Ezekiel what looked like a sword,
"What's this?" he asked curious as to why she was handing him a sword
"Just to defend yourself just in case, y'know we run into those men from before" She kept avoiding my eyes, and seemed almost shameful while talking, but Ezekiel believed it just to be his imagination and although they weren't very close Ezekiel felt like they could kind of trust each other.
He did help her escape from those men, and she saved Ezekiel from himself. 'Maybe it's my emotions I couldn't control yet. Or the fact that she was the person who introduced me to this new world I had longed for, for so long Ezekiel thought while deciding to trust her and accept the sword
"Umm, where do I put it?" He asked curious as to where she got the sword from
"Oh that's right I never told you, try to concentrate on your emotion, feel it inside you, and try to delve into it"
Thinking about what Adeline said he tried to feel his emotions which translates into trying to feel as many emotions as possible.
He felt the happiness of the moment when he found out about my Ariel.
He relived when his emotions were amplified for the first time turning them into a blender of confusion
He felt the fear of returning to his life as before, his life that made him feel as if he existed in a void of nothingness
He could feel it inside himself and he went deeper, feeling his emotions in ways he couldn't before.
Then Ezekiel saw it, it was a box about 100 x 100 meters separated into many different spots, a small portion was a beautiful hill covered in grass that made him feel calm and happy.
There was a volcano erupting in a different section that seemed to make his blood boil.
An area of pure darkness, that reminded him of a void of nothingness.
Those three sections represented the emotions that he could comprehend the easiest.
However there was one more he didn't understand, A cleansing light that radiated pureness was seen covering a globe of earth. It was an odd sight, that seemed out of place.
After fully understanding his emotional territory and taking in this new sight, he placed my sword down in the center of the territory and focused on my emotions like before.
~A sword created from the wings of the fallen angel, a sword made for darkness, a sword made for those who live in the dark.
~Stronger in darkness, amplification is dependent on the depth of the Darkness
As soon as those messages disappeared Ezekiel returned to his own body, looking around he was in the same spot on a stone bridge, to his right was a huge forest expanding for what seemed like forever, a lush green covering the land
To his left was a lagoon of water with an enormous waterfall, rainbows seemed to surround the waterfall causing a mystical appearance.
Ezekiel came here last year as well, but he could barely remember anything about it. He didn't care about the beauty of the waterfall or the wonderous sight of nature. But all that had changed.
"Adeline It's beautiful isn't it" Ezekiel said a warmth filling his entire body "Adeline?" he began to look around and noticed he wasn't able to see her.
Due to the Rebirth, his senses had improved, and he noticed a glint of her blonde hair running through the waterfall. She had left him and he couldn't understand why she had done it
"The trackers pointing this way hurry up"
"C'mon if we don't get that word we'll be dead"
That's when he realized, looking behind him he saw the four men from before, Adeline had left him for dead by abandoning him with the sword.
Ezekiel instantly summoned the sword and noticed a glowing red dot on the handle, he couldn't understand how he hadn't seen it before.
Putting his sword away once again, he noticed two men at the edge of the bridge.
He had already tried to remove the tracker and failed but the two men behind hadn't spotted him, he turned and ran, he was planning on running away and trying to get to the other world to lose them.
Running he saw two more men on the other side of the bridge,
Ezekiel's mind which was racing to think of ways to escape for some reason ended up landing on Adeline. He didn't know if he had subconsciously formed a connection with her or something but her betrayal made him angry, and he could feel his emotions running rampant inside.
He wanted to hurt somebody, and a dark tint began to form behind his eyes
Deciding to fight he noticed the two men in front of him hadn't noticed him yet
He stopped running and began walking on the far right side of the bridge, he knew he had a short window till they noticed where he was.
He slowly walked right to the side of them,
Turning Ezekiel kicked the first man's knee making him fall, he grabbed his head and brought his knee to his nose as hard as possible.
'One down', Ezekiel internally counted, the second one was going to be much harder he could tell, watching him Ezekiel could tell he was about to summon something due to a glow emanating from his hands
Ezekiel reached for his wrist and caught it as a dagger was forming, using all his strength Ezekiel spun the man's hand and drove the dagger right into it's owners neck.
Although Ezekiel didn't enjoy killing it wasn't anything new to him. Living in a crime-riddled city as an orphan he had witnessed a few murders, and one evening when a drunken man had tried to rob him he ended up ending his first life.
Looking at the messages he felt my body grow stronger, it wasn't an extremely large change but enough to notice
Inside he felt a section similar to his Emotional Territory had grown. The space was small 5x5 meters at the most, and was pure darkness.
He could feel dark emotions brewing inside there, from myself and the dead man in front of him.
Snapping him back to reality was the two remaining men running towards him
Due to the discovery of whatever happened after Ezekiel killed the man now bleeding on the floor, his anger seemed to have momentarily departed. Allowing him to quickly decide to run, although he had relatively easily killed the two men from before. That was only due to surprise and he wasn't sure he could do the same to the remaining men.
Looking around for anything to help, he decided on the most efficient method to escape, the water below. Although it was a 100-foot drop he was confident he'd be fine.
Grabbing the dagger and throwing it into his Emotional territory, he quickly finished off the other man not wanting to leave any witnesses
~Dagger made from the scales of a Golden Dragon
~Very Sturdy
He quickly jumped over the railings head first towards the water, it was a quick fall and the water was cold and refreshing allowing him to wash the blood that had covered his body.
Looking up he saw the two men jumping as well, he quickly summoned his sword and waited, stabbing the first man right through the eyes as soon as he landed in the water.
Quickly swimming away, he ended up on shore before the final man. As the man was getting to shore Ezekiel summoned his new dagger and threw it.
Sadly he wasn't as good with a dagger as he was with a sword, so he missed the man's head and didn't manage to kill him.
But he did make him fall back into the water, summoning his sword Ezekiel slowly walked towards the half-dead man, He was just floating there awaiting death.
Ezekiel quickly cut the man's head with a clean diagonal slash
He didn't even know the name of the man who he had just killed, he hadn't even spoken a word to him, and yet he had killed him and three others just like him.
Oh well, although he had killed it was kind of fun to fight like that, 'I suppose my years and years of fighting hadn't been for naught' Ezekiel thought to himself with a large grin
Plus looking at the reaction of the four men when they saw their teammates dead he could tell that murder wasn't a rare sight inside the Land of Ariel. 'I'm assuming that the three Highlanders aren't on the friendliest of terms' He thought with a small snicker
Walking in the direction of the waterfall, with nothing to distract him his anger and sense of betrayal had returned
Although that only lasted a short time, as he decided to just let it go, holding onto those types of emotions just made life dull and narrow.
he decided to just let his emotions towards her turn into nothing. A lack of care was the best way to describe his feelings toward her or lack of feelings for that matter.
Before the betrayal he had a sense of gratitude, and maybe even attraction, but that's all inconsequential now and had long disappeared.

After ten minutes of walking around the Lagoon, he finally arrived at the waterfall
Walking right through all he saw was a wall, but with his enhanced senses he could tell the wall was fake, so he just kept walking ending up inside a rather small cave.
For the first time since his awakening, he ended up in darkness. His senses had all increased by two-fold, he felt stronger and at home as if he was being basked in the warmth of the sun. he could feel his entire existence accepting the darkness and it accepting him.
Although he had been within a semblance of darkness, it was never true darkness
Darkness is the absence of light, it isn't related to light in any way, unlike shadows which need light in order to exist. Darkness thrives without light, and although shadows have a portion of darkness within they can't compare to true darkness. Which was his home and his strength
At the end of the cave, he noticed a portal, and without any hesitation, he walked right through.
