Ryloth, home of the Twi'leks. A world with a lot of dirt to say the least. A world under the protection of the Republic. Protection that has amounted to shit. Pirates still often come to his world to acquire slaves. The local law enforcement is not equipped or trained to deal with them. Only the paramilitary forces that hide away in the wilds ever gain results in combating them.
It is these conflicts where I will acquire 3 specimens for research. With conflict, their is no need for I myself, to kill. So, I hung out in orbit training in my combat room as I waited for pirates to attempt a mass abduction. I did not wait too long.
A pirate saucer starship was detected coming out of hyperspace. I mutter, "Weequay..." One of the races that partake the most in piracy and criminal professions are the Weequay. The Weequay race itself is a little interesting. Stronger skeletons, thicker, tougher skin, makes them a hardy species. A regular blade will have trouble getting through Weequay skin. Even weak blaster fire will only cause burns. Their pheromone communication is also something to research. There are Weequay Jedi after all. It could prove useful to confuse one if I decide to hunt one.
I follow the ship to their destination on the surface. They land a few km from a small village out in the dustlands. I use my ship scanners to see if there are any paramilitary groups nearby. I am pleased when one is found.
I land my mother ship a kilometer from the village. I take a scout ship to go gently warn the paramilitary Twi'leks about the pirates. Their hidden base was not too far. A lot of the group were outside cooking out this night. I looked upon them cloaked, trying to see who the leader was. I found him within a minute as he walked out of the cave. I then go to gently warn him.
I do this by jumping down in front of him and grabbing him. I then jump up with him upon the top of the rocky hill the cave went into. I uncloak as he faces my intimidating form. He asks with suspicion and worry, "What do you want?"
In true Predator fashion, I use hand signs to relay my words. I motion with my hands that I want nothing. This is untrue, but lies are a part of diplomacy. I then point in the direction of the village, and make my hand do a fist as if I'm crushing something. His eyes light up with understanding, "You're telling me the village is about to be crushed. How?" I nod and point to the stars, then I make a circle with my hands. He understands, "Pirate saucer ship...! When!?" I then point down. The leader starts to get anxious, "Now, oh no." He turns to run and get his outfit moving. He stops abruptly and turns back to see I am no longer there. He doesn't stop to look or think as he has his priorities straight.
I nod in approval of his decisiveness as I watch him mobilize his group. I get back in my scout ship and follow them as they speed of towards the village riding their guar and speeders. When they arrived, the pirates had just begun their attack. The pirates and paramilitary fighters clashed in the village, while the residents ran. The pirates were getting pushed back by numbers. The Twi'leks also had high-power blasters that were actually lethal to them as Weequay. The pirates took what slaves they had already captured, which were a few of women and children, and couple of men. A bad haul for a pirate raid. Some Twi'lek fighters did die and I took their bodies all stealth like during the battle. Now that the pirates were retreating on their speeders, they became a target for me.
In my scout ship, I launched some plasma shots at their saucer ship, wrecking it. No where to go the pirates were grouped outside their ships looking at the flames. It was at this moment, I decided to do a mini hunt. Flames I doused using a shock wave from my scout ship. Now the Weequay pirates were alone in the dark. They knew by now that someone is attacking them. So, they huddled together back to back with their catch in the middle.
The only thing they heard before their deaths were some Predator clicking. I dropped right into their huddles with a scimitar. A blade attached to my gauntlets like a wristblade, but a single blade and longer. Then I started slashing. As Yautja metal is anything but regular, they were easily cut into. I moved like water as I cut through them. They were all shooting wildly as they could not see me, only the blood on my blades.
The Weequay were all killed by me. It was a good fight, better than fighting cold robots. There is nothing quite like the hunting of a living thing. The Twi'lek captives were fearful of what they saw. They became more fearful as the pirate bodies begun to disappear. Towards the end of the collection, I heard one of the children say as I was about to go, "Ghost..." I stopped and looked at the child. The child must have felt my gaze because the child looked straight at my eyes. I decide to leave an impression, I flash my bio-helmet visor with green light so the child can see my "eyes".
I then leave on my scout ship. Now I had plenty of material to work with.
