It was remarkable. I got perfect score in the combat Examination Test without a hitch. It was fun, to the most part it is. I haven't have the thrill to be powerless ever since i became the demon king. And to think I'd have this feeling once again, is a thing that I've never thought off.
It had fun. Only in the combat examination test thought. The other tests not only made it unfun but it also made me feel miserable. They are difficult, extremely tough. As a demon, i have no idea and couldn't comprehend their test which gave me a low grade other than the Combat Examination test.

I got really lucky with these honestly. The panel was kind enough to gave me a multiple answer instead of an open ended one. If not i would've gotten 0 once again. I don't know anything coming from the human history after all, what am i supposed to do at that point.

Seriously! I'm not that dumb. Isn't my IQ of a 164 the proof of that?! I hope my retainer didn't fake that also. Cause if she did, i might have a breakdown. No i mean it, i'm not that dumb. In fact i can calculate or multiply upto 3 digits in mere seconds. It's just that i couldn't comprehend what kind of questions there is here.
'Rom has a 0.04m³ of base mana. He used his inert ability for about an hour which cost 20 pounds of mana every 10 mins. If Rom had did the cycle in perfect manner, how much mana did he saved up if he used his ability for over 24 hours non stop?'
I had no idea at all. Like, what am i supposed to even do there when i don't even know what mana is. There was no way of comprehending this type of thing given that i just arrived here yesterday. Oh to think that i have the audacity to partake in a test without a pre practice.

Okay this one wasn't that difficult i swear. It's just that. I don't know what weapon am i even holding. An L shape object that i don't even know how to hold. With a cylindrical shape as the barrel of a projectile. It was honestly an amazing weapon. A long range weapon like a bow or crossbow yet a more superior in terms of class.
Yet it was difficult for me to use. Of course it's my first time seeing it. It took me a minute on how to use it which i had mistakenly thought of it as a mechanical boomerang. Then halfway through it ran out of power which took me half a minute to understand that i need to remove and replace a long iron object with new one. It also took me a while to realized that i need to pull the top of the barrel for it to damn work.

Of course as difficult as everything is, this one also didn't made my life easier. I'm happy enough to even have pieced up and fix a mechanical part, even if it's just one. But then again, all of this are just one of the lots of test i had undergone. Almost all of them was near impossible to me. We arrived here in the morning and now it's near evening.
"Sigh"
Sitting in a chair here in the 7th floor of the staff house, tired as i put down my head in disappointment. This is the second time that i was exhausted here outside the Abyss, but mentally instead of physically.
"Don't worry about it renhe. And i think you actually did a pretty good job compared to the other examinated students."
I turned my head to meet Lucas gaze as he tried to reassure me.
"Ughh i had no idea on what are these test gonna go. Shouldn't you have given me a bit of knowledge even just a bit?"
"Yes, i should've given you some kind of knowledge for the most part, it's even hard to see you struggle with a gun. But you see. We really can't teach you anything."
"Huh? Why is that?"
"Why you ask? You see. Thomas used to also be an examinator here, and knowing that. There's a rule here that if you had decided to give a try the exam here. People shouldn't help the individual who's gonna take a test here. Thomas who used to be examinator here, prohibited me to help you."
"Oh i see, so is it that huh. Wait, now that i think about it. Thomas isn't here huh."
Leaving my exhaustion aside, i looked around the place wondering where did the loud man disappeared out to.
"Oh don't worry about it. He was probably just looking around to find his daughter."
"Oh huh. Now that i think about it. His daughter passed the test here isn't she."
"Yep. His daughter, Bennetnasct got a perfect score in the Alchemy Examination test. And with that, she passed it getting in column C where the Alchemy Category 1 was located."
"Geez, that's actually astounding."
"Yep, she is. Even though i'm only 23. As her uncle i am also proud of her. Since you got a perfect score in Combat Examination test, i think you're probably going to go to column A because of Combat category 1 or the column E where the Martial Arts category 1 is."
"So... Does this mean i have the chance to pass this exam?"
"Didn't i told you before?. You're more than qualified. Especially in the performance you have in the combat exam."
Breathing a sigh of relief, leaving mine aside. It pained my mind on how remarkable Thomas daughter is, which made me curious on what she looked like or what she sounds like. Expecting her to also act like her father. A piece of infatuation was etched in my mind.
Leaving the 7th floor of the staff house trying to look for Thomas. We looked around everywhere but to no avail, he was like not in this place. As such we headed off outside the place, leaving in the front door i turned on my back to look at it once again. The structure was immaculate as ever.
"Goodness. Where did that old man goes to."
I muttered to myself. Walking alone in the city, no we're supposed to be in a university still. Yet the place, it feels the same as a functioning city rather than just a place to teach. Me and Lucas has decided to split off finding out where Thomas has gone off to. Getting lost? Don't worry, my panel has a mapping function to avoid me on getting lost.

A sudden sound appeared from nowhere, looking around there was nothing where the sounds came off. But knowing things well. If something came out with no such source then it must be because of the panel.

Seeing Lucas message me even without him nearby amazed me. To think you can actually do that instead of the letter. I then messaged lucas back.

Only after pressing the send button had i halted my advance. Not realizing i've been wandering around unconsciously here in the academy. Upon walking back, my senses felt an disturbance, a thing of like a broken circuit in a mortals body.
Heading towards the source i hid in the side of a building to avoid being seen by them.
"Ghnhh, bastards!"
"You bitch can't you shut down your mouth? You're damn lucky you haven't left this university yet."
"Shut up! I'll leave when i decided to! My life is not yours to decide!"
Looking at my point of view, 5 was against one person. 2 male and 3 female, collaborating to beat up an unfortunate girl. The girl, having her clothes dirtied, her body is full of bruises, and blood dripping from her nose. She was leaning against the wall, holding her right arm with her left.
"Come on! Use your ability!"
One of the girls bickered to the girl leaning on a wall before continuing off.
"Why not use it? Why don't you use your ability? Or perhaps... You don't have any abilities at all do you?"
"I'll kill everyone of you!"
The bruised girl barked at her bullies. Replying to her bickering the girl who had spoken earlier send jolts of pain by using her fist on the girl's stomach.
"You!! You don't have any mana yet, you're threatening us here. You bitch! This is no place where you play like a moron you damn cheater!!"
The girl screamed in her full lungs. To the leaning girls response, she just glared at them. A threatening demeanor from her sharp eyes as she glare daggers at them. And a loud voice as she states her own opinion, fully having the resolve. The description was relatively close the same from someone i knew. I think to myself.
'could she be Thomas daughter?!'
Determining whether she's actually her or not. The screaming girl then started to drag away the leaning girl, removing her from the wall. Having the thoughts of whether to help or not, footsteps came by.
"Halt."
Hearing the voice behind them, they stopped. The 6 looked at her. She walked around silently as she got supported by her cane in her left arm, holding it in her right hand. The 5 had stayed quiet as the girl move towards them. Yet the bruised girl stared at the matching girl, staring with hostility before muttering.
"Anastasia!"
The girl, Anastasia. Stopped her advance as she closed the distance between her and the bruised girl. The 5 had stood silent just staring at the both of them after making a path for Anastasia to walk right through.
"Rei. What's your pathetic life doing here?"
The girl asked in disgust as she looked at the bruised up girl, Rei. Which means she's not her.
"You see, you should've dropped out if you had the chance."
Anastasia muttered as she set her distance to Rei. Upon getting close crouching a little, she grabbed The leaning girl's cheek with her right arm.
"But still, you have your face. You can use it to pay me really well, why not become one of my sex slave?"
"In your dreams."
Answering Anastasia's questions as she also spat out saliva in the side. Rei was then slapped by her, unable to do anything because of her broken body circuit.
"All you fools are just barbaric."
Anastasia stated as she stood up.
"You there! I know you're here. State your name."
Her words was directed at me. I was still hiding in the side, of course there's no way she would've know unless if it's someone's special and this place was a farm for unique people. Ignoring her words as i still hid she muttered.
"Foul wrench. Playing the role of a hero without a hint of responsibility. Are you gonna show yourself or what?"
Me? Playing the hero? No. I missed the part where that's my problem. Why would i help a stranger i don't know off. If it's Bennetnasct then i would help due to my connection with her father. But to someone i had no idea who? Yeah, no. If she asked for help and gave me something in exchange then it would've been different. But she didn't.
"... Who are you?"
The girl muttered narrowing her eyes still staring at the wall that's blocking them to mine. After all, they couldn't see who i was. leaving from my hiding spot I walked away. Returning to the car parking lot.
"What took you so long?"
Lucas asked. Then i answered.
"Oh nothing, i just got side tracked. Sorry about it."
"Oh It's nothing! This old man is still happy! I just saw my daughter helped her teacher."
"And the two of us split off trying to find you."
"alright, alright sorry about that Lucas."
After enough chatting we had finally returned inside the car. Heading away from the university, and returning to the city. The Empire.
