---------------------------------------

After praying last night, God Alpha gave us all some advice. It would be better if we learn shape changing spells, mind control spells, summoning spells, animate or puppetry spells.

Alpha didn't explain any further as we have to decide for our own. He made a rule that after completing creation, He would no longer interfere with the affairs of mortals, mainly advice those who pray to Him.

We thanked Alpha for giving us some ideas on how to rescue the children. I ask my parents, can magic be cast using spell scrolls or tomes in this world?

Father and mother have no idea.

We would have to find Alpha magicians in this world if there is any of them left so we can ask these questions safely.

-----------------------

We checked our stats after eating. My level became 5, Father and mother became 8 and Vi also 5.

I almost forgot that I level up twice as fast because of the skill Alpha gave me.

They still have not learned new skills or magic as they don't have the required magic points and skill points to yet to cast advanced skills yet.

Apparently, magic and skills require a lot of points to cast. Good thing Praxis didn't have magic in my world, we would have destroyed it more quickly if it had.

-----------

Father, mother and Vi tells me everything they learned from the academy. Their fighting forms and styles which mainly fall basically to 4 categories. Offense, defense, evasion styles. Evasion styles composed of melee ranged weapons like flails, whips or any weapons that can extend it's range while the fighter is as lightly armored as possible usually delegated from the back, to find holes in an enemies defense.

In the Peacekeeper organization, we are trained to combine the three styles and switch style depending on our enemy. We prefer stealth, ranged attacks though, one hit attacks that disables and incapacitates, aimed at an enemies weak spot. I told them our ways, basically focus first on building stamina and accuracy. So we run laps around our land, have timed races and accuracy trainings. I told them that if I get older, I will build peacekeeper weapons for them as well as our outfit. Most Peacekeeper weapons and equipment are easy to make, focusing more on utility and practicality.

Father had to build a small barn so people won't be able to see us training in the open.

So later, my father and mother brought me to the adventurers guild, on the excuse that no one would be able to take care of me at the time.

My father talked to the Adventurers Guild leader in one of the tables and as usual, my mother is sitting at another table at the back of the Adventurer's leader whose name is Ford.

So while they are busy talking, I cast my holy spell on the guy as my mother is pretending to nurse me. (Yeah, I know it's awkward because I am an old man in a boy's body but we need to have a cover somehow so we won't be suspicious). We are most likely being watched at all times, but as long as no one is focusing or me or my mother carefully, we should be good.

I checked the guy and his status, he is a level 36 Magic warrior, age 35. He knows some magic but on the basic level. He knows a lot of them, mainly offensive attack types and support type. He is proficient in the sword and shield. He is has no evil aura around him. Good.

He senses that someone cast spells and skills at him, looked around but since he is surrounded by people, it would be rude to search further. He would have to find a way to ban magic being cast in the Guild and also posts watchers as lookouts for anyone who do so, where they can be fined and jailed. He is surprised that someone has the audacity to cast spell inside the guild, as it is common courtesy to not cast a spell without permission.

Other people looked around as well, looks disgusted that someone has the audacity to cast spells within the Guild walls, saddened that people are losing their morals and honor these days.

------------

Good, Mr. Ford is not an evil Beta member. Mother stood up and patted father at his back, signalling that Mr. Ford is not an evil guy. Father asked him questions about where to find magic and where to train for them as he wants to learn some of them to protect his family.

Mr. Ford understands the situation, with the kidnappings and stabbings today, no one is safe from bad people. He told father that magic can only be taught in magic universities and the nearest one would be the one in the city of Frendo. You can also learn magic from a practitioner of it. These practitioners would only teach you about magic if they think you are worthy and also, if you have lots of coins.

"Figures." Kelsier said to himself. They have worked hard to learn it and probably studied it in the magic academies or universities for a ridiculous amount of price. No way anyone would just teach it out for free. He thanked the Guild Master we left the building.
