----------------

Today we create basic peacekeeper armor. It's simple really, carve wood as armor that would protect the whole body. Attach thin slates of stones or pebbles, shells to the wood to make it hard, using any sticky substances that you can find. In our case, a flour glue will do, just mix flour water and salt together. Paint the armor black and your done. We coat the armor with hardening agent like tree resin mixed with alcohol to protect it from mold. Depending on the strength and endurance of the peacekeeper, the person may have 2 to 3 layers of wood armor in his or her body, sometimes they put sand instead of stone in the armor, if slate stone is not available or in worse case scenario, just wood and wool alone.

The full set of armor are made quickly covering every part of the body, except the joints. The joints are protected by either wood, stone, wool, leather links or sheets, depending on the availability. We put a lot of pockets in the armor where we can put throwing and paralyzing weapons. We have 2 daggers on our sides, reserved for the kill. If the target is well protected, we usually use long range weapons like the dart gun bow gun, or the long range crossbow.

So we first train by hitting targets using stones, throwing knives and throwing darts. Accuracy and speed is the key, so we practice throwing a thousand times till we get better.

The we practice the whip and ball and try hitting targets 3 meters from us and this would extend up to 5 meters. Different ways to do a flicker attack that would hit the vulnerable parts of the body.

We will be next practicing the Perkuur, the ancient ways of climbing. Since we didn't have any place to climb, we build holds inside the training barn father did.

We then prepare our things inside our house for training in the jungle and forests tomorrow.

I have also taught them on how to make throwing weapons from stones and wood. I've asked father if there are paralyzing plants or animals in the forests. My father said he doesn't know, as he never goes to the forests when he was a kid, only adventurers, hunters and loggers are allowed to, as they are trained in fighting monsters and work in groups. 3 adventurers are required before you are allowed to go to the forest to train. Perfect then. But just to be sure, we will be asking other adventurers to join us as we search for paralyzing plants or animals tomorrow.
