During the night, we all discussed our plans for the future. What do we do or fix first? How do we do it? Each of us gave their thoughts on the issues at hand.
"So son, I think the most important thing that we need to do is to rescue the children who are recently kidnapped. Who knows what's happening to them right now." Father said.
"That's right dear, we must rescue the poor children." as Mother supported his idea.
"I also agree with them brother, we must rescue the missing children. Some of them we know. You know Tom and Harry right? They are ones who were last kidnapped before the town tightened it's security. They are our friends. Please save them." Vi said sadly.
"I agree. as part of the Peacekeepers Corp back in my planet, we must save the children first. They are the future after all. These are the ways that I propose in finding the children:
1. First, Ask God Alpha for the location of the children. He has a rule of not intervening directly with human affairs, but who knows, it's worth a try.
2. Learn any scrying or any search magics that can be used to find the children. If we cannot learn them, we will need to search for people who knows these magics. I propose searching for the Alpha worshippers currently in hiding, maybe they know scrying magics.
3. I know dogs have excellent sense of smell. We can use spells to communicate to animals. Maybe ask them what they know.
4. I can use myself as bait to lure the enemy out and try to kidnap me. Since I know that we are being watched, this is a good opportunity to trap them. We would need a great amount of preparation to pull this off, as we don't know the strength of the enemy, their numbers and what they would do if one or some of them are captured. In my planet, there are terrorists groups who blow themselves up rather than being captured alive and would hide behind civilians or hostages during emergency cases. Seriously, these are the worst type of guys to deal with. I have lost some good men trying to save hostages or during guard missions.
"What do you think?" I ask.
"I think we can do all of the first three son and do the fourth for last because as you said, it is very dangerous and I agree. We need to be really prepared for the consequence if we attack them or capture some of them. A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal as the saying goes." Father exclaimed.
"I agree with your father son." Mother replied.
"As do I." Vi even raised her hand in approval with a serious face.
"Thank you guys. Now that we have a plan. It's time to for us to rest. The base building will have to wait. The safety of the children are the most important thing right now. Vi, study hard in the Adventurers Guild and find learn any holy spells or scrying spells if you can. Learning Holy is your first priority."
"Son, I have an idea, why don't me and your mother study in the Adventures Guild as well? We can bring you there so you can cast your holy spell secretly and so you can find out potential spies or enemies." Father interjected.
"Excellent idea Father. We would be hitting one bird with 2 stones. I agree with your preposition." I replied.
"Are you sure dear? I mean, what would we say when people ask why we are becoming adventurers?" Mom asked worriedly.
"We will say the truth. We will say that we will help in searching for the children. Everyone is doing so as well, so there is nothing wrong with us helping." Father replied.
"Great, we shall do that. Any objections." I asked.
"None." everyone replied.
"Great! Now, let us rest so we can start in the morning. But before we go, let us pray to our one true God, Alpha for protection. Agree?"
"Agree. I feel sad that we all have been tricked by the evil one. Let us worship Him once more. Do you agree dear?" As he looked at mom.
"Yes dear. I trust your judgement and I feel that our son, whatever his past maybe, will do the right thing for our family."
"Mmm!" Vi raised her hand again and smiled cheerfully.
I chuckled. "In that case, Let us pray: Our Father, who art in Heaven, halllowed be thy Name, they kingdom come, thy will be done, on Valeria as it is in Heaven...."
