Chereads / Endless Chaos: Oblivion / Chapter 145 - Farwell

Chapter 145 - Farwell

"From now on... your name will be Deus!"

ROAR!

Deus roared, feeling the strange connection and the mysterious power flowing inside his body.

Becoming the companion of a human was a low standard for an arrogant creature like him. Yet, his potential and fortune significantly reduced his dissatisfaction.

A new dimension portal was opened for his new creature, but Atlas was sure that Deus's desires were others. In fact, just a few seconds later, the question he was waiting for came.

"Little Boy... since we are all one family now, why don't you tell me where the Rocky Tree of the Underworld is?"

Atlas smiled in response and waved his hand: "Nihility Dimension..."

A portal appeared around them, and in a few moments, Atlas, Uranus, Deus, and Falerra, in Sarruna's body, appeared inside the realm.

Their first expression was one of shock, as the Nihility Dimension was indeed great, and then they couldn't help but ask.

"Incredible... so this is the Nihility Dimension. What are all those floating islands?"

"So many islands... what are their use for?"

"Follow me... I will explain everything to you..." Atlas started walking toward the main island in the direction of the portal connected to Flagnis's island and explained the essential information to them.

It didn't take long, and finally, they reached their destination.

"So... this path will lead you to Falgnis. As I told you, you can only use it after I'm outside. At the moment, all the portals are locked by my powers to evade this little problem. Let's keep going..."

After showing the right passage to Falerra, their next destination was the giant island made by Atlas to contain the tree.

In the last six months, small plants and weeds have grown all over the ground, creating a large expanse of greenery.

Weeds were the only thing here since he missed the opportunity to collect some helpful alchemy and medicinal plants.

Their expression changed as soon as Deus and Falerra stepped onto the island, but their response was different.

"I can feel a familiar power..."

"Incredible... In just six months, the seed turned into a small sprout...."

Indeed, Atlas was also surprised when he found out about this matter.

It was evident that the words in that ancient tome were the truth. This Nihility Dimension was extremely useful for growing every type of vegetation.

They neared the location of the newborn and found a tiny golden sprout.

"Bloody hell... it's still so young. How long will it take before it grows enough to create fruits? Damn, I'm so hungry..."

Looking at the miserable condition of the legendary tree, Deus's curse and lamentation fell one after the other.

"Geez... What did I do wrong to deserve this?"

Atlas and Falerra couldn't help but laugh at his ridiculous act.

"Hahaha... Deus... we will find something to eat once we move out of this place..."

"Something else? There is nothing else in this world as good as those fruits..." Deus bawled in sadness, looking at the small thing in front of them.

"Well... Their flavor is quite good, but they stink so much. There will be no problem finding something worthy of your palate."

Deus ignored his words and wept a bit more, coursing the heaven for his bad luck.

Falerra knew this fellow well, so he stepped back and wasted no more time with him.

"Little Boy... It seems that the time for our separation has come..."

"Mmm... indeed, it's been too long, and I can't stay here anymore..." Atlas nodded seriously and then bowed deeply: "Falerra, I would like to thank you for everything you have done for me."

"Good boy... no need to thank me. Just take care of these three fellows for me and grow strong... so strong that nobody can stop you."

"I will do my best!" Atlas marked Falerra's words in his heart and nodded vehemently.

"Good... you should leave now. As for the exit, just follow the path, and you will be out in a couple of minutes."

Atlas nodded again and then disappeared from the Nihility Dimension with Uranus, leaving behind only Falerra and Deus.

"Hehehe... you did more than you can imagine... farewell and good luck, young man..."

Falerra looked at the small sprout for one last time and then walked toward Falgnis' portal.

As for what destiny awaited him on the other side... nobody knew...

"We are finally out... Ah..."

Just as Atlas stepped out from the long passage and crossed the rocky wall, he took a long and deep breath of fresh air.

It's been more than six months. It was a long time, and the young man had had enough of small and gloomy places.

He was still inside the Maze of Despair, but this was an excellent opportunity to stretch those muscles that had been unused for so long.

Standing on top of Uranus, Atlas proceeded forward, eager to end this damned maze once and for all.

"Ok... this should be the right way... Uranus, keep moving this way, and once you find some trouble, wake me up."

After giving out his order, Atlas closed his eyes and brought all his attention to his mind.

In fact, a lot of things happened during his transformation.

One of them was the precious memory of his mother. In fact, the image of the woman who brought him into this world was deeply marked on his mind.

But this wasn't the only important matter.

Indeed, the strange dream inside the Nihility Dimension turned out to be genuine and marvelous.

"Eternal Sun Soul Art... I can remember those words perfectly, yet there is a lot more... something truly unexpected..."

Atlas found it truly hard to calm down after looking at his mind because the Eternal Sun Soul Art was, in fact, a Soul Cultivation Technique related to the Everlasting Soul Path.

It could help him cultivate his soul to higher realms and give him access to various Soul Cultivation Techniques.

His mind was loaded with so many pieces of information that it would take him a long time to check them all.

"Who could have thought there was a Legacy within the Nihility Dimension… who knows what other marvels it is hiding?"

Atlas was still a bit overwhelmed by this discovery. After all, it was evident that the Nihility Dimension had a deep connection with him. It was as if it was made for him.

Following those thoughts, the sudden appearance in his life of Nihilir became even more suspicious because he had guided him toward the Aether Primeval Stigma, so how could he not be related to him?

Nihilir knew more than he was revealing. Alas, Atlas had no way to get the truth out of him.

It took him a couple breaths to put those matters aside, but then all his attention was again on the Soul Cultivation Technique.

"Well... To advance, I need Sun Energy... after a minimum quantity of this energy is collected inside my body, I can create a Sun Flame at the juvenile stage... a unique flame similar to the Beastly, Earthly, and Heavenly flames..."

These Flames were beneficial to everyone who wanted to embark on Alchemy, Crafting, and other camps.

Old Mold also had one of those unique natural treasures, but Atlas didn't know its name.

As the name suggested, the Beasty Flames were related to Demonic Beasts and could be extracted from them after their death. He heard stories about evil poachers who pulled out those flames from living creatures, but this was an inhuman process.

Instead, the Earthly and Heavenly Flames were generated in nature and could be found only by luck or purchased at Auction Houses around the world.

So, finding out about the Sun Flame was a marvelous discovery, especially for the following information.

"... The Sun Flame will grow strong with the accumulation of Sun Energy and can even evolve from an Infant Sun Flame into a Young Sun Flame. There are even more stages above, and the last one is comparable to the Primordial Sun Flame... Geez..."

The more he read, the more the young man was shocked by that incredible Soul Cultivation Technique.
