The four rows had students who had yellow uniforms. Finally the last two row had seven and six students who were in orange uniforms. Mo found that there was an empty seat in the second row and understood that it was meant for him. He directly walked and sat. Ten students surrounded him wanting to him and where he came from. The military academy only accepted students from the military families with an exception of those who were outstanding and had to be at least at the blue tier. Many students naturally wondered why a student who was not from a military family would join the academy only at green tier. In the class there was only one student who was not from the military family who was in violet uniform. He was half an African.
The students who surrounded Mo were all at yellow tier .They wanted to see whether they could use him as a stepping stone to the next level since those at the lower tiers could challenge those at higher levels than them. If they won the students would replace the ones they defeated. Students were not allowed to challenge those weaker than them unless the weaker student was confident enough to win, no one was foolish enough to challenge the stronger students and if the one you challenged turned to be stronger, one would be beaten until you had no courage to face others. The only suitable way to improve one's tier was through the competition that took place after a month.
Back at the school, the principal could not let go of his students no matter who it was that tried to take a student away excluding one's parents. He decided to contact his supervisors and ask about the matter. After a day a letter was delivered to him. The letter came directly from the office of the minister of education. The principal was informed to just forget about the student. He was informed that even if the minister of education wanted to take the student back, he would not succeed. The person who took the student away was someone that even the president had to respect. The principal was shocked but since the since the ministry said that there was nothing it could do. He was also helpless and could only let the matter go.
After the teachers marked Mo's papers they were shocked. The exams that he did with time even if they as the teachers could not use and be able to finish the papers. They were done in a way that only word excellent could be used to describe it. He had scored one hundred percent in mathematics and the least he got was in agriculture and was ninety four percent. His average marks were ninety eight percent. The most surprising thing was that he was not taking Agriculture as unit in the school and the content was grade twelve content. They could only sign with disappointment that such a student with that high potential was taken from them.
At the military academy Mo could be said to be the unlucky since he came only ten days to competition and all students below the green tier seemed to target him. He kept quiet and never answered any of the asked questions by the students who surrounded him. The students at the academy could only wait for the competition in order to gauge Mo's strength. The strongest student was called Alvin while the second was Elias. The third was called Paul. The top three students were males. There were four males and the three females in the green tier excluding him since he joined the green tier and became the eighth.
The yellow tier equality in genders. The orange tier had eight males and the rest were females. Generally, in a class of sixty one, they were 36 males and 26 females. There was a general ranking of students in the whole school according to their strength and not their positions in their classes. The strongest were violet tier while red were the weakest. The ranking was distinguished by badges .From the red to violet ones. There was only one violet badge in the entire school. You could have a blue uniform but have a yellow or even an orange badge. Let's say a student who had a blue uniform and was a grade nine would not be a match to for a yellow uniformed grade eleven student no matter what. Most students in grade nine had orange badges. That was their ranking among all the students. Even the violet uniformed student of that grade only had a yellow badge which was a sense of pride to him.
