Chapter 39 - Jaun, Come on

Raena and Vladimir... No, sorry, I mean, Raena and Jaun were immersed in their search for answers as they delved into ancient texts, meticulously deciphering the cryptic clues left behind by the enigmatic founders.

After an hour of relentless pursuit, they stumbled upon the first riddle, concealed within the pedestal of a solemn statue nestled in a dimly lit corner of the library. The intricately carved figure portrayed a cloaked enigma clutching a staff, its countenance obscured in shadow.

Jaun reverently knelt to scrutinize the inscription:

"To find what you seek, answer me this:

I am not alive, but I can grow;

I do not breathe, but I need air;

I am not awake, but I can move;

What am I?"

"What do you think is it, Raena?" Jaun turned his head, asking the lady who was still reading the riddle.
