Cassandra Vitale
It's been a week, and Everytime I leave the hospital after seeing Anthony I'd always pay the orphanage home a visit and then go to Kevin's place, stay for a while before going back home. Kevin never hesitate in giving me updates about how far he had gone with Susan's case. I remembered the first time I came to his home like it was yesterday.
Kevin's mom welcomed me like I was a part of her family, she was sweet, generous and kind.
"This must be the Cassandra I've heard so much about?" She asked, looking at me with a loving gaze. Her brown eyes that were filled with so much love, her wrinkled fair skin, a testament to how much she has aged. Her black hair that flowed down her shoulders, her pointed nose and her pretty lips that always curved into a smile almost Every Time.
"You're welcome to my home," she said, stretching out her arms for a hug. I didn't hesitate as I just dived right into her arms, returning the hug.
