El nodded slowly, letting out a long breath. "I've tried everything... but I always fail. It's as if there's a line I can't cross, no matter how hard I try."
Yuri walked over, looking at him with an understanding gaze. "Perhaps, Adrian," she said softly, "there are things that are not meant to be overcome by strength alone."
El looked up at Yuri, feeling a bit of peace from the words, though his heart was still filled with disappointment. "Then what's all this power for?" he asked, his tone a mix of anger and despair. "If I can't even keep my family alive?"
Yuri smiled a little, placing his hand on El's shoulder. "Sometimes, our power is not to change the past, but to accept and protect the future," she said. "Your little sister may not be able to come back to life right now, but maybe you can find a way to bring him back to life."
Silent for a moment, El tried to digest Yuri's words. Although there was still a sense of disappointment, little by little, he felt the burden on his heart begin to subside.
