Chapter 110 - Reincarnation Tower

The woman smiled warmly as she walked up to Yuri, then gently touched his forehead. "This is the punishment," she said softly but firmly.

Yuri immediately touched his forehead, wincing at the stabbing pain. "Master, that flick still hurts so much..." Yuri complained in a half-joking tone, though the pain was real.

The woman covered her mouth with her hand, laughing softly. "Haha, this is the result of you breaking the sect rules, White Lily. And not just once, but twice at the same time. Even Falling Petals, my sword-crazy disciple is not like you."

After the pain slowly subsided, Yuri scratched has head even though it wasn't itchy, trying to find an excuse. "Master take it easy... all I gave you was the 'Mind of Sword' manual, not my personal cultivation method, 'Path of Inner.' White Lily made sure it was kept safe."

Yuri recalled what has cultivation method, the Path of Inner, looked like.

Practitioners utilized the seven emotions and six desires to cultivate all their thoughts and experiences into a source of Qi for themselves, to increase their cultivation realm.

However, the drawback of this method was that it was not very useful in battle. That was why, Yuri learned the Mind sword, to help him in battle.

In other words, if El wanted to practice this method, then El would have to work much harder, to the point of vomiting blood than a normal practitioner.

The woman sighed, smiling softly yet there was a tone of reprimand in her voice. "White Lily, still, it violates the sect's rules," she said as she folded her arms in front of her chest.

"The manual shouldn't be spread around, if someone understands its essence, they can start cultivating," the woman looked at Yuri attentively, realizing the potential risk it carried.

Yuri just smiled mischievously, as if he had already thought of the answer. "Master, Adrian can't understand the essence of the 'Mind Sword' for now. And he's also not stupid enough to sell the manual carelessly," she said, trying to reassure in a casual tone.

Then, the woman looked at the forest that was frozen due to its overwhelming aura, and smiled faintly. "Interesting, you seem to see a unique destiny in that person..." she murmured, as if talking to herself.

Yuri nodded, smiled slightly, then said softly, "I feel there is something different about Adrian, Master. It's as if the path he chosen more meaning than meets the eye. Though broken, his soul has an unshakable determination."

El stared at the Reincarnation Tower that towered majestically before him, located in the center of the Training Area. "According to the information, in addition to running Missions across the world, the reward for challenging the Reincarnation Tower can increase the Beyonder's attributes and strength," he said in a serious tone.

"The first step to resurrecting my little sister is to become stronger," El continued, full of confidence that he would successfully overcome this tower challenge.

Before stepping closer to the Reincarnation Tower, El paused for a moment, opening his status screen to distribute his attribute points.

El stared at the holographic screen in front of him with focus, thinking about the right distribution to be ready for the tower challenge.

"It's better to distribute all the Attribute points on VIT first," he muttered as he added points to the Vitality attribute, representing Stamina, Endurance and Regeneration.

This is necessary, so that El can use the Sun Breathing Movement longer and more optimally, and utilize all of his Rinnegan abilities that rely on Stamina as a source of consumption.

With the right distribution of attribute points, El could extend his durability in battle and increase his chances of unleashing powerful attacks without getting tired.

Closing the holographic screen, El stepped closer to the tower, mesmerized by its grandeur. With each footstep closer, his awe grew.

"In front of the Tower of Reincarnation, humans are just like ants," he muttered as he marveled at the gigantic structure.

Nearby, the tower's entrance resembled a large mirror, with a long line of Beyonders waiting to enter.

Without hesitation, El joined the line, preparing to test his strength and face the challenges hidden within the Tower of Reincarnation.

Once it was his turn, El entered the doors of the Tower of Reincarnation. As he stepped inside, a sharp pain assaulted his head, reminiscent of the sensation when he first passed into the Last Human or Demon Slayer World.

However, without him realizing it, his Rinnegan activated momentarily, relieving the pain.

The disappearance of the pain due to Rinnegan's activation was that El had unlocked Amanotejikara's ability, allowing the manipulation of time and space within certain limits.

After the time and space shifted, his Rinnegan deactivated automatically.

"Uhh... What is this place?" muttered El, finding himself in the middle of a field of lava and plate rock, just like at the top of an active volcano.

Whoosh!

Hot mist accompanied by bursts of fire rushed towards El. Without thinking, he immediately jumped onto another rock platform to avoid the approaching wave of heat and tongues of flame.

Each of the surrounding platforms looked shaky and dangerous as the molten lava continued to churn, adding to the challenge of this test field.

After successfully dodging, El looked around his. "What a unique building," he muttered. "It seems like this place is based on the laws of time and space. The place that was filled with people, now it's just me."

As El continued to observe the smoldering volcanic field around him, suddenly a system notification sound echoed out, accompanied by the appearance of a holographic screen with brightly lit on-screen text, right next to him.

Ding!

"This is too much," El muttered with sweat on his face, enduring the heat and horror of the test setting. "That is, even if the person has a Back From Death like Subaru, he or she will really die."

El grinned, although a little forced, but his enthusiasm did not fade. "According to information from Sister Ichigo, the sooner I finish each exam, the better the reward will be."

"Go ahead and start the exam," he said with full confidence that he would complete the Reincarnation Tower exam with a very high score.

Ding!

[The exam begins!]

As soon as the system notification sounded, the entire volcanic field shook and rumbled very loudly.

Blup... Blup... Blup!

The sound of boiling liquid lava echoed even more, like the breathing of a wild creature that had just woken up from its sleep. Not long after, from within the volcanic sea around El, a figure appeared that seemed to merge with the heat of the magma.

It was a fiery red lizard, its scales hard and seemingly glowing like living embers. They were the size of a full-grown cow, and their red eyes flashed sharply, reflecting predatory instincts.

The lizards re-entered the volcanic lava and swam nimbly like they were in their natural habitat.
