Chapter 108 - Not Suitable?

A few minutes later, after walking, Yuri and El finally arrived at a log cabin hidden near a waterfall.

During the journey, El tried to understand more about the identity of this mysterious girl. When Yuri revealed that she was a Cultivator of the Frozen Flower Sect, the twelfth disciple, with the name Dao White Lily.

El was shocked to learn that she was not just facing an ordinary little girl, but a Cultivator. Even more surprising, Yuri had also realized that El was a Beyonder.

All these facts shocked, made El realize that the world he came from was much wider and more complex than she ever imagined.

Then El asked about Yuri's relationship with Kirai. With a gentle smile, Yuri explained that he was Kirai's nephew.

Yuri also added that he can see destiny, and this is what brought him from China to Indonesia quickly, after seeing the great danger that threatens his cousin, Kirai.

This fact made El realize that there were many things happening beyond his understanding, and that threats and allies could appear from unexpected places.

"Be a good boy!" Yuri said with a mischievous smile. "Apologize properly, I'll give you kibble as a reward."

El looked at Yuri with a cold and flat expression. "Little girl, please, don't treat me like an animal. I will apologize properly."

Yuri raised an eyebrow, then smiled amusedly. "Oh, so you don't want kibble?" He placed an index finger on his chin, thinking for a moment. "How about... I teach you how to become a Cultivator?" she offered, a friendly yet enigmatic smile gracing her face.

El held back his surprise, beginning to consider how serious Yuri's offer was. El's heartbeat seemed to stop. Thinking of Yuri's offer as a rare opportunity, El finally nodded and said, "You promise?"

"Hmm? Is that how dogs answer their masters?" said Yuri with a mischievous smile.

El barked softly, "Wof," with tense veins bulging on his forehead, holding back an almost unstoppable anger. He wanted so badly to reply to Yuri's words, but realized he would lose badly if he did.

Yuri smiled sweetly, and in her heart thought seriously, "Good response, his emotions have stabilized. It should be enough to keep his soul from breaking further."

El opened the cabin door slowly, stepping inside to meet with Kirai. He bowed his head, apologizing sincerely for his actions that caused Kirai to be paralyzed.

Then, carefully, he gave Kirai a high-level potion, hoping to restore Kirai's condition to normal.

El also did not forget to give Kirai the Immortality Pill as a gift, as a form of her responsibility after using has all this time.

This responsibility was the anchor that kept his human nature, even though his soul was damaged. It became even stronger after being shattered by the painful fact of the death of one of his family.

However, after his encounter with Yuri, somehow it was as if the anchor had been repaired, even stronger than before. Although sometimes his nature is still cold, a little unfeeling and somewhat indifferent to his surroundings.

Moments later, the two were engaged in a warm conversation, as if rekindling their disrupted closeness.

Outside, Yuri listened to their conversation with a faint smile on his face. He whispered to himself, "Forgive me, Master, for getting involved with someone from the Reincarnation Room."

Time passed quickly until nightfall. Kirai had already fallen asleep in the cabin, while near the waterfall, El sat cross-legged in the lotus position, calming himself.

Behind his, Yuri stretched her hands across El's back, focusing the flow of true Qi into his body. White glowing Qi energy flowed slowly from Yuri's hands, gently entering El's body.

Feeling the flow of Qi, El closed his eyes, concentrating on absorbing the Qi and adapting it to his body. This was the first step in acquiring the Cultivator profession.

However, something strange happened. Every stream of Qi energy that Yuri put into El's body could not be absorbed in the slightest; it kept disappearing into nowhere.

El stopped her meditation and opened her eyes. "Yuri, the Qi you're channeling isn't being absorbed at all. I think it's useless if we continue this way," he said calmly.

El didn't mind if she couldn't get the Cultivator profession. After all, El was a Beyonder who could explore different Multiverses. There must be a profession that suited him among hundreds of other worlds.

"Hmm, maybe we can try the second way," Yuri replied, standing up and suddenly hugging El's back from behind. In a soft voice, she whispered in his ear, "Dual cultivation... we have sex..."

Surprised, El immediately stood up and without thinking, lifted Yuri up before throwing him into a nearby waterfall. Yuri's body spun in the air, before finally falling into the water, with splashes of white-colored Qi spreading gently on the surface.

Yuri was already in the water with a mischievous smile on his face, looking at El. "Ara? It turns out Adrian was impatient, to the point of making me wet first before finally performing double cultivation?"

El immediately turned around and walked away. "Nonsense! Stop teasing me," he said irritably, leaving Yuri still soaking in the water.

Yuri smiled and slightly raised his tone of voice. "Adrian, you know what?" she said, trying to get El's attention. "Although my body looks like a loli, my real age is twenty three. The cultivation effect slowed down my growth. There's no problem with us doing a double cultivation. It'll definitely be fun!"

El sighed, reluctant to be swayed. "I don't care," he replied shortly without turning around. "I want to rest!"

While looking at El who was already approaching the log cabin, Yuri simply sighed and jumped out of the water. Calmly, Qi energy flowed from her body, magically drying her clothes.

'Sorry, Adrian,' Yuri muttered to himself, staring at the waterfall. 'It's not that you're not cut out to be a Cultivator, it's just not meant to be. Not now, maybe later. Too many probabilities.'

Yuri took a deep breath, then whispered softly, "Your soul is already so damaged. If left unchecked, your life path will only lead to destruction and misery. Poor Jiejie, because his destiny must be tied to you."

That afternoon, a clear sky stretched over the forest, while El stood in the middle of an area that was now filled with fallen trees and messy ground. The remnants of his intense training to regain the Passive Skill he had sold.

All the effects of El's training left only tangible damage, but El didn't care about that.

Right now, El's thoughts and attention were completely focused on the holographic screen floating before her. The data on all of his Rinnegan abilities that were previously locked away were now open and ready to be used.

In a surprising fact, El realized that he could use his stamina instead of Chakra to activate these techniques. All this time, he had always thought he needed some sort of special energy to maximize Rinnegan's potential.

Perhaps, because Rinnegan was a special ability, the system that governed his body allowed him to fully access the power in a different way.

With stamina as an energy source, Rinnegan now felt more flexible and reliable in various situations.
