Thunder Breathing users mimic lightning with great fidelity, so they cause the air to vibrate when ready to release the technique and create a very loud sound similar to thunder with their footsteps.

"What's wrong? I've stepped on a piglet before!" Irritated, Zenitsu lashed out at Inosuke with very sarcastic words.
Inosuke prepared to hit Zenitsu. Quickly, Tanjiro held Inosuke back. "Inosuke stop it! Zenitsu still hasn't recovered! And Zenitsu, apologize to Inosuke."
"I don't want to apologize to this pig!" said Zenitsu angrily.
Increasingly enraged by Zenitsu's words, Inosuke thrashed about trying to extricate himself from Tanjiro. "Bastard, making a fuss? Come here? I'll beat you up!"
Seeing the commotion in front of him, El sighed and raised his hand. With enough force, El hit Inosuke, Tanjiro and Zenitsu on the head.

"Ugh, it hurts!" The three of them lined up, fell silent and grimaced in pain while holding the lumpy areas of their heads.
El looked at Zenitsu, Inosuke and Tanjiro very coldly. As a result, the atmosphere around them seemed to plummet with a much more terrifying feel.
El opened his mouth. "Let's not make a scene here, okay?" said El in an emphasized tone of voice.
The three of them sat down on the ground and bowed their heads. Then simultaneously said, "Okay, we understand."
"Hn, it's good that you understand." Then El turned her body around. "I'm going to leave because I have some business."

Suddenly, El's figure disappeared from before the three of them, leaving behind her distorted shadow and disappearing shortly.
After El left, Zenitsu let out a sigh of relief and looked at Tanjiro and Inosuke. If Zenitsu recalled, when Inosuke and Tanjiro came, they looked tired and ragged.
Out of curiosity, Zenitsu asked, "Tanjiro, Inosuke, what happened? Why do you look so miserable?"

Slowly, the tree trunk was cut and fell down showing a beautiful cut mark. The cut marks looked neater than using a chainsaw.
El turned around and walked towards the tree. Once there, El smiled when he saw the neat cutting marks.
"Not bad for my first try. Moreover, the Thunder Breathing Style turned out to use less of my stamina than the Sun Breathing Style." said El checking the level of fatigue after using his stamina.
Then, El turned his eyes to another tree nearby. "There are still many trees to be used as training targets."

While waiting to get the Demon Slayer Mark, El would learn all the Breathing Styles in the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba directly, not using the Training House facility which was a bit inconvenient.
