As Davina was getting changed, a knock on the door pulled momentarily distracted her. "Come in," she yelled at the person on the other end of the door.
Caspian walked in and shut the door behind him. "Are you sure you can do this?" he asked the question although he didn't doubt her for a second. Even without reading her mind, he could feel her resistance and determination from where he stood.
"I am." Davina gave a brief reply as she stuffed the dagger Lucien gave her into her boots. "Nothing will make me change my mind." she declared.
"I know..." Caspian stared at her for a while, his face as unreadable as ever. Giving her a curt nod, he left the room with Davina trailing behind him soon after.
They made it to the living area where Lucy and Lucien were waiting for them. From the looks on their faces, Davina could tell they were having a serious conversation and it wasn't a pleasant one. "I'm ready," she announced to them once she descended the last stair.
