Davina nearly choked on her saliva. "Welcome home?" She wanted to scoff. This wasn't her home and it will never be.
As if knowing what was on her mind, Caspian chuckled. "Don't worry, it'll begin to feel like home soon enough." He started walking off in the direction of the staircase, "Your room is the first door on the left side of the hall upstairs."
"Sir?... I'm staying inside?"
Caspian looked at her like she was the definition of stupidity. "Of course, you're staying inside, would you much rather sleep outside?" His voice was tinged with sarcasm.
"N-no, I was just... I thought there would be like a servant's quarter where I would stay or something of the sort..." She looked down feeling embarrassed.
