Simon looked at his Qi attribute and was in deep thought. He wanted to upgrade Qi points with blank attributes but it didn't work. He could only upgrade basic attributes like attack, defense, strength and so on with blank attributes.
His Qi is like battery.
Every time he uses a skill, his Qi energy would be used up. If his Qi bar gets emptied he wouldn't be able to use any skill.
The Qi bar would replenish itself slowly as time passes and also Simon could replenish it by hunting beasts and monsters by devouring their Qi.
Simon checked his bag and found thirty three rank 1 beast core, eleven rank 2 beast core and the big rank 3 beast core lying on a corner.

Simon checked the time and saw it was almost night time.
Coming out of the Forest he suddenly turned his head and gazed back at the forest.
Simon suddenly recalled how earth was back then eleven years ago.
There was no overgrown beasts or monsters from another world. Superhumans didn't exist at that time. Earth was peaceful without any worry.
Suddenly one day everything changed. A huge crack appeared in the sky like the jaw of a giant black hole. Strange energy pervaded the earth from the crack. Few months later the crack disappeared without a trace. Earthling's returned to their normal life but strange overgrown beasts started to appear all over the world.
Bullets couldn't hurt the beasts. Human lives became as fragile as an ant. Under the beast calamity human population started to dwindle.
And then, true terror descended from another world. Space rifts started to appear on earth. Terrifying monsters stepped out of the rifts and plunged the earth into an era of darkness.
Those otherworldly monsters were so strong that even the beast calamity couldn't hold a candle against them.
When Humanity was on the verge of extinction, earth's first superhuman appeared.
The awakening era started.
Humans started resisting the monsters and beasts. But most astonishing thing was that along with the creatures, earth itself started to evolve. Earths mass started to increase. Strange landscapes, space cracks and forbidden grounds appeared one after another.
The once peaceful earth became an unknown planet to the humans.
Some superhumans tried to fly into the outerspace but a strange suppression stopped them. Even with the help of highest technology it was impossible to explore the outer space again.
Simon sighed as he threw the scenes of the past on the back of his mind.
Everything changed, its not what it used be anymore. It became a dog eat dog era. Simon felt a little strange in his heart.
