"Where do we go first, Elda?" Aric asked, eyes wide with excitement as he surveyed the bustling streets of Arcana.
"Let's make you a bank account first, Aric," Elda replied with a reassuring smile. "Be patient, there's plenty of time to explore Arcana."
After a while, they arrived at Dragon's Vault Bank. The imposing structure loomed before them, guarded by stone dragons that seemed to come alive as they approached. The building, made of enchanted stone, glowed faintly with magical runes.
"Wow," Aric laughed. "This place is so tight, right, Elda?"
Elda shook her head, smiling at his enthusiasm. They were greeted by bank representatives and security wizards, ensuring the safety and privacy of all clients. Elda and Aric were directed to a private consultation room where a senior banker welcomed them warmly. Dressed in elegant robes adorned with the bank's insignia, he introduced himself as Mr. Thaddeus Grimble.
Elda provided her own identification as Aric's guardian and presented a letter of introduction from the Starshade of Moonshadow Glen, along with a document confirming Aric's residence.
"Mr. Moonshadow, if you could please provide your magical signature," Mr. Grimble requested, indicating a small, ornate device.
Aric's star-shaped locket gave out a magical aura as he placed his hand on the device. Mr. Grimble's eyes widened in surprise. "What's this? It seems Mr. Aric Moonshadow already has a bank account, Miss Elda."
Elda gasped, "Oh my, I had completely forgotten!"
A small, ornate device was used to measure Aric's magical potential as part of the bank's security measures. Once Aric's potential was confirmed, Elda made an initial deposit to fund his account with magical currency known as "Galdors," enchanted coins that ensured authenticity and value.
"Here, take this money. Spend it wisely, Aric," Elda said.
"Is it okay, Elda? I already have money though," Aric replied, hesitantly.
"Aric, your money is not enough, my dear," Elda explained.
Aric made a playful poker face, "So you're saying I'm poor? How dare you!"
Elda laughed, shaking her head.
Aric was then asked to set up a secure password and was provided with a magical key, a small enchanted item linked to his magical signature. He chose to have the key integrated into his locket.
Aric and Elda reviewed and signed a magical contract outlining the account's terms and conditions. The contract was enchanted to ensure that all parties fully understood and agreed to its terms.
"Now, Aric, the account is fully yours, and only you can access it and know what's inside," Elda explained.
"Okay, cool," Aric said, nodding.
Mr. Grimble performed a final incantation to activate the account. A small, glowing rune appeared on the contract, signifying that the account was now active and ready for use.
The banker provided an overview of additional services offered by Dragon's Vault Bank, such as money transfer spells, enchanted safety deposit boxes, and financial advisory services. Aric received a pouch of magical coins for immediate use, a booklet detailing the bank's services, and a magical map to locate branches throughout Eldoria.
"Sweet!" Aric exclaimed.
Mr. Grimble thanked Elda and Aric for their visit and wished Aric success in his studies at Starshade Academy. They were escorted out of the bank, reassured by the high level of security and service they had experienced.
As they left, Mr. Grimble mused to himself, "That is a very old account. That woman must be in her 50s. How could she have opened an account a thousand years ago? Well, it's not my job to pry, lalala..."
