My force was still infused, allowing me the necessary time and reflexive speed to respond to the sudden attack I am faced with.
Mustering all my strength, I wrestled control from what had grabbed me underneath.
As I took back control, I hurriedly spiraled out of the way and evaded the burning fire coming my way.
Safely away and on the ground with one leg knelt down and the other half bent with my arm resting on, I heaved a panicked breath.
With not even a second to catch my breath, my visual caught sight of an arrow aiming at me.
Mildly tilting my head to the side, I caught the arrow as it was about to fly pass me. I then hurled it back to where it come from, where my visual had shown me sonic visual of who shot it.
I got up and ran out of there, flying over the stream to land on the other side.
Now on the other side of the stream, my attackers started showing themselves.
Hiding in the woods, two human shaped creatures wirh coarse green skin, short and dressed in animal hides appeared.
They had unusual long ears pointing upward, and small fangs that were barely noticeable.
"I know there are three of you. I can see the third one hiding on the tree branch over there".
I called out, not certain if they could understand me.
Their third member came down from the hidden spot to stand alongside the two other.
Three bald green skinned creatures were now standing before me with the stream separating us.
"Voice. Is the language transla-
Yes. It is active
I mumbled in a low tone and was responded to before I ended.
That explains how the one hiding could understand me.
"Are these ones also a part of the Deaman race".
Yes. They Are Called Goblins. A Specie Of The Deaman Race With The Weakest Physical Consistution
"Weakest?!".
A smile formed on my lips, a satisfied one.
Here I was looking to meet with the weakest of their race and what do you know? They so easily delivered themselves to me.
They sure do look weak. From this distance, I appear taller than all of them.
What are they, five-two?
And their body?! They look well built hidden under that animal hide.
Sure enough, they are no stranger to normal exercises that affect the proportions of a body, distinguishing it from that of a bum. but that is not enough to scare me one bit.
But what is with the weapon they had with them?!
One of them has a metal weapon, a scurfy long sword. Another has an hammer, a hefty hammer that appears bigger than he is. The third one who was also the one hiding on the branches, has a bow with pointy metal crafted arrow.
"Voice! I thought you said Deamans are a race stuck in the primitive era?!".
Yes
"Then how come they have access to crafted metals?!".
Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, I am certain that is a blacksmith crafted product. A blacksmith is not an existence you will find from a race of the primitive era.
Or are they?!
There Appears To Have Been A Misunderstanding
"What would that be?!".
My voice was low, so very that I believe those who are not near me would never be able to make out what I was mumbling out.
This Is The World Of Arthdal, Not Earth. The Level Of Earth's Civilization Advancement Should Never Be Compared As The Same To Earth
Thinking about it, there is a point here.
I had been pitting this world to be as Earth with a few differences here and there.
This world has Force, an energy that can bring to life what would normal be considered supernatural or fantasy realm actions back on Earth.
I can't peer them together when the difference is that obvious.
"Killing a Orc in a lone battle and surviving our combined attack. Who are you and what clan do you belong".
Finally breaking the silence are demanding words from the goblin that had a sword as a weapon.
"I am Theophilus Alderman, a Human. And I do not belong to any clan as of yet".
To my response, the three looked at each other with befuddling gaze.
'Did they not understand what I just said?!".
"Voice?!".
They Do. Their Confusion Stems From Not Knowing What A Human Is
"Are you saying they have never seen a human before".
Presumably So
"Do humans not exist in this world".
They Do. Only, Humans And Deamans Last contact Was Recorded To Be Hundreds Of Years Ago
"What does tha-
SWOSH! The arrow whistled past me, taking along with it a tiny measure of meat from the edge of my ear.
I felt my ear with my hand only to see my palm drenched in blood.
I was... Pissed so to speak!
