Jessica's house, 7:30 am
Jessica's mouth dropped, and her eyes widened. Hannah and the girl were shocked, but Banayote stayed calm. Jessica looked at herself in the mirror to see that her face was back to normal—no redness, no melted skin, no damaged eye, no skin fused with her lips. Her face was just as it was before the chemical was poured on it, as if nothing had happened that day, as if the students weren't killed, as if her date with her childhood friend Jacob was today. Jessica couldn't speak for a moment; she couldn't even think straight because how could she? She was afraid, shocked, happy, sad, angry—she felt all the emotions at once. Her eyes started watering, tears began to fall. She quickly turned and rushed towards Banayote, hugging him, not letting go, crying on his chest. Banayote hugged her back. She was crying on his shirt, soaking it with tears. Because as you can tell, Jessica's face may have gone back to normal, but her life had not. The incident had ruined her life. She ran away from her parents, her friend Jacob, too. She disappeared, leaving the school, her friends, and her family behind. It was all so overwhelming for Jessica that she couldn't help but cry on Banayote's chest.
Jessica didn't go to any doctor or plastic surgeon because she didn't want them to ask questions about what happened. Also, she knew they couldn't do anything. Banayote was the only doctor who came to her and helped her. He didn't just heal her face—he brought it back to normal, just as it was before they poured the chemical on her, as if Banayote had changed time.
Jessica held Banayote for a few minutes before looking up at him. Jessica then kissed Banayote's cheek. Banayote blushed and got startled.
Jessica said, "Thank you so much, you're, you're…"
Banayote then said, "It's ok, it's the least I can do."
Jessica calmed down for a second, then she said, "It would be an honor for me to join you." Jessica took the gun from the table.
Banayote then said, "Are you sure about this? I don't mind if you don't want to."
Jessica then said, "No, I want to do it."
Banayote smiled.
Hannah then said to Banayote, "Can you make my chest grow bigger?"
Banayote froze, and the girl froze too. Banayote didn't respond (he was too shy to say yes).
The girl then said, "Hannah!"
Hannah then said, "Calm down, I was joking."
(She wasn't.)
Jessica then said, "Are you ready to go?"
Banayote, the girl, and Hannah said yes.
Before they walked out of Jessica's house, Banayote stopped and noticed something. He turned to the girl and said, "I'm very sorry, but I forgot to ask your name."
The girl said, "It's ok, my name is Yuki."
Banayote then smiled and said, "Yuki, that's a beautiful name."
Yuki blushed because a handsome man like Banayote had complimented her. Hannah looked over at Yuki and said, "Aww, is someone blushing?"
Yuki then covered her face and said, "No, I'm not."
Jessica laughed, and Banayote did too. Banayote, Jessica, Hannah, and Yuki walked out of the house.
Banayote got his gun expert—no, he got his school shooter.
