That's how I've met Anubis," Banayote said. Yuki, Hannah, and Jessica were shocked. Yuki said, "Wow, you really met Anubis? That is so amazing, and he wanted to make your wedding? I never knew his personality was like that." Hannah said, "Wow, you really have all kinds of friends, don't you, Banayote?" Banayote said, "Well, I was shocked myself. He is not like what the textbook says, and also, he is very kind."
Banayote looked in front and said, "Oh my, sorry, I was lost in the conversation. We're here." Yuki and Hannah looked in front of them to see a giant pyramid. They were amazed. Banayote and the girls got off from the camels. Yuki then asked Banayote, "Are you sure that Anubis lives here? I mean, a lot of people visit the pyramids."
Banayote said, "Well, here is something that you don't know: this pyramid is only the rooftop." Yuki looked at Banayote with a surprised expression and said, "Only the rooftop?" Banayote said, "Yes, once we enter, you'll know." Yuki nodded. Hannah took pictures of the pyramids. Jessica drank water. Banayote and the girls entered the pyramids. They walked inside. Yuki and Hannah looked around, amazed. Jessica was by Banayote's side. Yuki said, "I'm so happy. I've never been to the pyramids before." Hannah said, "Wow, now that's what I call fun. No wonder people visit the pyramids."
Banayote said, "I'm happy you like it. Now how about we enter to where the people's feet didn't reach?" Banayote placed his hand on a wall and examined it for a second. Yuki asked Banayote, "What are you looking for?" Banayote said, "I'm sure that it was right here." He placed his hand on a stone, turned it, and then pushed it. Yuki, Hannah, and Jessica were stunned. A sound of mechanical gears started moving behind. For a second, then the wall started separating, opening a door. Banayote said, "Come now, let's go." Banayote and the girls walked inside. After a while, they reached an empty room. Banayote, Yuki, and Jessica stopped, but Jessica continued walking. She stepped on the room, then her legs started lowering. Banayote pulled her towards him before the arrow hit. Hannah turned pale and clung to Banayote, shouting, "What was that?"
Banayote said, "I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you this room is full of deadly traps. I'm sorry, that's on me." Hannah shivered while holding Banayote. She then realized she was hugging him. Hannah thought, I'm hugging him. I can't believe it. He's so warm and soft. He smells so good too. She sniffed Banayote's neck without realizing it. Yuki and Hannah giggled. Hannah then realized what was happening. She started blushing. Yuki said, "Is someone having a crush on Banayote?" Hannah turned red and said, "Stop it, don't say that." Hannah then let go of Banayote and said, "I was just—"
Yuki smirked and said, "Just what?" Jessica laughed. Banayote said, "Don't worry, just follow me." The girls nodded. Banayote started walking in a pattern; the girls followed him. Banayote walked closely. After a while, Banayote said, "We're almost there." Banayote then looked down and said, "Okay, what was the next move, left or right? What did Anubis say? Oh my, I don't remember. What should I do?" Banayote got nervous. Yuki noticed and asked him, "Are you okay?" Banayote replied, "I'm fine, really." Yuki said, "If you need help, you can tell me." Banayote said, "You're so sweet. Thank you." Yuki smiled. Banayote then stepped on the left. Then a trap opened, and Banayote fell down into a pit. Yuki, Hannah, and Jessica rushed toward him, looking down from the pit. Yuki said, "Are you okay?" Then they saw Banayote being held by a giant snake. Yuki shouted, "Banayote, get down from here!" Hannah shouted, "No, don't touch him!"
Jessica started thinking, then she pulled out the gun. She aimed it at the snake's head. Banayote said, "Don't shoot!" Yuki, Hannah, and Jessica were confused. Jessica put down the gun. Banayote said, "Don't worry, it's Anubis's pet snake. He's harmless." The snake put Banayote on its head and lifted him up, placing him on the room. Banayote hopped down. Yuki and Hannah were surprised. Jessica was confused. Banayote hopped down from the snake's head and turned to it. He petted the snake's head and said, "You've grown so much since the last time I saw you. Thank you so much for helping." The snake went back to the pit. Banayote looked over at the girls. Yuki hugged him and cried. Banayote was surprised and confused. He said, "Don't cry, I'm okay. What's the problem?"
Yuki then said, "I was so scared of losing you." She sobbed, "I really care about you. Please don't scare me like this again." Banayote was shocked because he didn't understand why she was so afraid of losing him. He hugged her back and said, "I'm okay. I'm here. I'll be okay, I promise." Yuki sniffed. She looked at Banayote, her eyes red from crying. She told him, "You promise?" Banayote said, "Yes, I promise." Yuki then smiled. Jessica looked over at them, confused, except for Hannah. Yuki pulled away and said, "Thank you." Banayote nodded.
Banayote and the girls walked out of the room and into a hallway. Yuki asked if there were going to be any more traps. Banayote said, "No, don't worry." Banayote and the girls walked until they reached an elevator. Yuki and Hannah looked confused. Hannah said, "The trap room was old, but there is an elevator? What kind of god is Anubis?" Banayote said, "Well, he didn't hate modern technology, but he couldn't also forget about the old ways, so he made a mix of the two." Banayote pushed the button of the elevator.
