Chapter 6 - "A Daughter's Silent Burden"

The girl started crying, not knowing what to do. Feeling as if the whole world was against her, she cried for a few minutes. Then, she calmed down, turned off the TV, and gathered the broken plate. She started preparing lunch, placing it on a wooden tray. Walking towards the bedroom, she entered the room where her mother was still sleeping. The girl woke her up.

The mother said, "Oh, you came. How was school, dear?"

The girl replied, "You know, the usual."

The mother laughed. "Well, I'm glad you're doing the usual."The girl placed the tray in front of her mother. The mother noticed her eyes were red. The woman asked, "Are you okay? Were you crying?"

The girl started thinking about whether she should tell her. She said to herself, "No, it's too much pressure. This is the last thing my mother needs." The girl then said, "Oh no, it's this weather. It makes my eyes hurt like hell."

The mother smiled, knowing that wasn't the truth. She said, "Well, at least let me help you with that." She took the eye drops and held her daughter's face, adding the drops to her eyes. She wanted to act as if she didn't know something was wrong. The daughter smiled, enjoying the moment between a mother and daughter as her mother gently held her face."Enjoying the moment between mother and daughter."
