Chapter 4 - Chapter 3 - Forming an Eternity

Nell stared into a seemingly endless library of books. Bookshelves everywhere, each filled up entirely with books. He slowly walked up to one and looked at the contents. It was titled "A myth of Time". He put it down and looked at the one next to it. It was titled "Water Magic and Water Pressure". That explains how he used that box of water to crush those guards.

I scanned the room, looking at every detail. I spotted a bulletin board with over 100 drawings of people and names. Ame had a proud grin on his face as he looked at me for approval. "What is that board for?"Ame's face molded back to normal after I didn't complement it. "It's a list of all the commander of the Jeti Army. There's 100 of them, and they are ranked due to strength. The 18th commander would be the 18th strongest." I looked at him and smugly responded. "Alright, I'll help you. If there's only 100 of them, and they have about the same strength as those guards, it'll be no problem." Ame looked away a little as he spoke nervously."Uhm... Well..." "Hmm?" "Those guards were not even close to a commander. The weakest commander would be about 25 times stronger than those guards. "My jaw dropped to the floor instantly. How the fuck am I supposed to beat 100 of those commanders when I was getting beaten by a guard? Ame sensed my shock and spoke up. "I know what you're thinking. You're probably thinking 'How the fuck am I supposed to beat 100 of those commanders when I was getting bitched by a guard?'" "I-."He cut me off and gave a proposition to me. "I'll train you." "What?" "I said I'll train you." Ame look at me as if he was god himself offering me his blessing. "Nah, I'm good." Ame's face distorted into something unholy. He stared at me like I just killed an innocent person directly in front of his eyes. "What?! Why not?!"I looked at him and thought about it. I didn't really have a reason to reject his offer. Ame regained his composure and updated his offer. "I'll throw in free meals 3 times a day." "Deal." With no hesitation in my voice, I accepted his offer. "Alright, we'll start training tomorrow! You can sleep down here. There's a bed behind the bulletin board for you." He begun to walk away. "Hey, what about my food?!"He looked at me and waved with a smug look before shutting the door to the basement. I was too tired to get angry, so I laid down and begun to collect my thoughts. First of all, my time here started off with me being released from my eternity. The god of time put me there to test my faith, but I don't know how long its been since then. Maybe it was an infinite amount of time? After all, she did call it "eternity". Who knows. However, I knew she would've put me there for a reason. My theory was that if I withstood the eternity, I would become a being like her. That's what I was hoping for. The deity I worshipped locked me, her follower, in an eternal prison so I knew I was going to get something out of it. I was not sad, angry, bored or agitated my entire time there. I was purely content. I was thinking every day, about my home, about L'eau, about why I was there. I believed I was close to coming to a conclusion but then I got released. After that, I got sent to the hospital. My mind was still shocked from being fully alive after all that time, so I was pretty out of it. I slept there for a couple days. I managed to embarrass myself in front of the whole town too, which was just great. I also believe my appearance hasn't changed much, but I can't really tell. When I got released, I had no goal in mind. I wandered around aimlessly and then saw a food stall with some bread. I waited until the owner left, swallowed my pride and stole some bread. I ran into the guards after that, almost had a fucking heart attack, and then followed them. I found out my magic got sealed by the god of time, and then I almost had a heart attack yet again when I was getting attacked by the guards. Ame came to save me, and then brought me back to his house. I was amazed by his research and was kind of jealous that he had something to chase after. That was the exact moment I decided. I'm going to chase after something too. I'm going to pursue the same eternity that I had previously lost.
