Ellena's POV
I shook my head slowly, watching Mr. August's strange behavior. Now, he was sleeping on my couch, looking so relaxed and carefree. It wasn't enough that he startled me with his arrival this morning; he even joined us for breakfast.
"Seeing him like this makes me feel regretful. How is it that I'm only meeting such a kind and wealthy man now? I should have approached him earlier." My thoughts kept revolving around Mr. August.
I never expected that this seemingly perfect man could do such unexpected things like he did this morning. I had hoped to rest this weekend, but instead, he showed up unannounced, looking disheveled from a sleepless night.
I felt a bit guilty for offering Mr. August that instant coffee. It seemed he had never touched or drunk instant coffee before. Next time, I won't offer him anything instant. I don't want him to blame me and take unexpected actions.
