"It's not that cold; it's just that my feet are numb!"
To say she wasn't cold was false. With temperatures dipping below ten degrees Celsius, her whole body shivered as night fell.
He reached down and grabbed her feet, beginning to untie her bootlaces.
"What are you doing!!" Xia Yanxin resisted warily. Had this guy lost his mind to the cold and now wanted to steal her boots for himself?
"Don't move!"
He said gravely and quickly took off her boots.
Her feet had long since lost all feeling due to the cold, numb even as he held them in his hands.
He unzipped his down jacket, stuffed her tiny, jade-like feet directly into his embrace, placing them near his heart, and then wrapped both of her legs securely against him.
Her little feet were like blocks of ice against his chest, and she felt quite apologetic as she wriggled, "Don't do this; you'll catch a cold."
"Don't move; if you move again, I'll assault you..." His large hands held her feet firmly.
