After watching several episodes of different hero shows and cartoons, Norvin chose to freshen up and check on a few 'work' related messages.
In under ten minutes Norvin was done showering.
After drying off, he applied deodorant, slipped into clean clothes, and donned a custom cosplay jacket he crafted himself, completing his preparations for his outing with Edward. Now, he was enjoying a snack while browsing his emails on his smartwatch, which featured a custom screen, also made by him, large enough for comfortable reading and composing of emails..
'Hhhmmm, a couple Sentai helmets and a full on Scarlet Spider cosplay...that's easy enough. The Spidey suit is going to be fun to make!'
He accepted the new commissions and then logged out of his email. He never needed to record a client or their request; he simply thought about what he needed to remember, and it was as if he could replay it in his mind with flawless detail. Norvin had the ability to recall everything he ever read so vividly that he could reproduce any novel he had read, word for word, without error. Naturally, he never had to jot down any client requests.
Speaking of which, he decided it was time to give Huey a call, and see if he wanted to pick up his order.
Norvin finished up with the chocolate bar he was eating, threw out the wrapper and washed his hands; he tapped a button on his modified cosplay smartwatch, bringing up his contact list. He chose a contact and initiated a call, then lifted his arm slightly toward his face to hear the call better.
It rang and rang but no one picked up. Eventually the call went to voicemail.
"This is Huey Young, I can't come to the phone or I think you suck, one of the two...leave a message...or don't leave one..."
BEEP.
Norvin shook his head and rolled his eyes at Huey's recorded message. He usually texted and hadn't heard this gem from Huey yet.
"Sigh...Huey, this is Norvin, I'm bringing your stuff to Makoto's Pub tonight. Me and Ed are going to rip down there on the bikes. I'm headed out right away so don't bother calling back, unless it's in the next five minutes, just text me or something or just show up otherwise...by the way, I heard they have a 'Virtual On' cabinet now so you should come play a round or something...later.
With that Norvin ended the call and left it in Huey's hands.
