Cameron, after hearing about Lexa's plan to escape through his security officer who eavesdropped and overhead Lexa talking on the phone with Valerie, made a call across to his mom to visit Lexa who was alone at home, saying she was lonely and needed a companion since he was away.
Lexa after hearing of her supposed mother in-law's impromptu visit from Cameron cried her eyes out after been informed by Cameron about how he found out about her plan and won't let her go away nor let anyone visit her again. She texted Valerie and Jace, about the current situation and how Cameron found out about their plans.

Following the failed escape attempt she has made, Lexa lives in constant fear of Cameron's wrath. He tightens his grip on her, monitoring her every move and limiting her contact with the outside world. Lexa feels increasingly isolated, depressed and helpless.
Cameron in turn starts to employ psychological manipulative tactics to excert control over Lexa. He gaslights her, making her doubt her own perceptions and sanity. Lexa's sense of reality becomes distorted as she struggles to navigate the emotional mindfield of their relationship.

With the help of some business partners around Jace, he was able to recruit abled men to the home of the new Edwardo's as staffs who will be his eyes and ears and report back everything that happens in their house to him. His plan was to get spies in there to work for Cameron as his official workers, to help him gather more information and evidences and be able to rescue Lexa for good this time.
Getting his new alliances to apply for Cameron's work space, they all pass the interview and test and are employed into the home.

Jace and Lexa have however deviced another escape plan, with the help of Cameron's new workers who were Jace's spies. The plan was for Lexa to leave the mansion with the help of the spies at exactly midnight, when she was sure Cameron was asleep and all the staffs have already retired to their quarters to sleep.
As the escape plan begins to take shape, they both face the daunting challenge of evading detection and navigating dangerous territory. Their courage and resourcefulness are put to the ultimate testa s they prepare for the perilous journey ahead.
Lexa had just 2 days left to prepare her stuffs and mind. The allies she discovered from Cameron's guard men were part of the plans to help her escape successfully.
As the escape day approaches, Lexa's mind intensifies as she prays fervently for this dream of her's to come through. Making use of the opportunity Cameron was out to pack and arrange her bags secretly to avoid any questions or raised brows as she continues to communicate secretly with Jace. She silently moved all her packed luggages to the guest room where she normally hid herself whenever she got beaten up by Cameron, or he starts his normal anger outbursts. Hiding her luggages there and locking the room, so as not to suspect any movement from Cameron or his staffs as she waited patiently for the right time.
ESCAPE DAY
11:30pm.....
It was extremely quite at the Mr and Mrs Edwardo's mansion. The staffs have all retired back to their various quarters after rounding up their daily tasks.
Glancing at the little note on her hand for the 70th time as Lexa sighed slightly, rolling over to the other end of the bed as she waved her hand across Cameron's face, making sure he couldn't see her as he snored noisely proving he was already deep in his sleep. She stood up from the bed and made for the door quitely, sneaking out so as not to awaken Cameron. Making her way to the guest room and rolling out her boxes as her allies disguised as Cameron's guards tiptoed in to help her roll it out to the car.
"We'll meet you in the car ma'am, remember we just have less than 30 minutes to be at the spot" they whispered to Lexa as they rolled her boxes out if the mansion.
"Finally, it's almost over now. Just a matter of some minutes before my nightmare comes to an end" she thought to herself with a smile on her face as she rolled out her last luggage, locking the guest room and making way to the front door.
On the other side, Jace was already at the location they had planned to meet. After a year and few months of been apart, he was finally going to reconnect with the love of his life as he waited impatiently for them to arrive.
