In what appeared like an ancient Japanese normal house. There was a tree with pink leaves planted in the compound. The whole place was fenced and at the moment, the sun was right above head.
"Each of you to pick a weapon from these here," came a voice from a guy who appeared to be around fifteen. There were two kids around the age of five each standing infront of him with their hands on salute.
There was no mistaking it. They were twins. They both had facial features similar to the guy who had just spoken. He was their older brother. He appeared more responsible. It seemed that he was the one who brought them up.
The weapons were of all kind. Wooden axes, swords, guns of all kinds and others like spears. The two kids each looked at him with awe as they both picked a weapon. One of them picked a pair of pistols and the other one took a long wooden sword.
They then stepped back and faced the guy who was speaking.
"You all know that we are of the Dan family. We may be the only ones left but that does not mean that we do not exist. It is up to us to fight for our name and keep our family going
" The weapon you chose is one that you are going to start training with. In years to come, we must avenge our parents. This is why we must strive to become strong and unstoppable. The weapon you pick should be like an extension of your arm.
" Make it that you can use any part of the weapon you have chosen to take a life. For today's lesson, you are going to practice on your own and familiarize yourself with it. By the end of the day, I will give you some tutorial," the guy spoke.
" Yes big brother!" They said in unison and started doing whatever they thought was possible with their weapons. For example like blowing away houses with bullets or cutting down a tree with a slash from a wooden sword.

On the rooftops, there were two figures. One was taller and the other one was shorter by slight a bit. The taller one was wearing a bamboo hat and a black robe. The shorter one was wearing a battle suit but his head was not covered.
The only thing they had in common was the black hair and the similar aura they emitted. They both let out a sigh. It seemed that all had been still until they both sighed.
"It seems like I miscalculated. Today was supposed to be a transaction but it turns out that it is a meeting. There are at most four leaders here. This means that there are 2,000 men. I wonder if we should turn back," Dan was at loss.
" You must be joking. We have a chance to take down four leaders yet you are thinking of turning back? When will we ever get a similar chance? If you feel like it is overwhelming, just leave them all to me. I have faith that I can get into the meeting room and kill the leaders on my own," Marx said elated.
Dan sighed once again as the wind blew in the direction of his sigh.
" Fine kid, let's do it!" Dan made his resolve, " I too will go all out for this one." He said and jumped to the ground as Marx followed him down. As he landed, the helmet covered his face and head.
Dan this time did not let Marx charge on his own. They walked side by side with their steps in sync. Even the wind was on their side as it would blow away the papers on the ground as they walked.
Even both the moons were covered with a dark cloud. The crows on top of the buildings flew into the sky and started floating above the city. It did not even take long before they encountered the first bunch.
It was just a masked person who never knew how he died after Marx shot him using the blue laser bullets. They did not even spare a glance at the body as they walked over it still marching forward.
Again, another unlucky person appeared in front of them and he too died the same way. They all died with their eyes open as if they had still not yet realized that they were dead. Next in line was a pair that did see the two figures and sadly for them, they died before they could even make a call.
In few minutes, all those in the frontline as the scouts were dead and the others were still unaware. The cause of this impact seemed to be unscathed. Not even a drop of blood could be seen on their clothes. It was just like they were taking a stroll.
The only difference was that they would leave dead bodies behind them as they passed. All this time, Dan was still yet to act. He did not think that he was going to do so any time soon.
They might have seemed indifferent but they knew ku6st what waited them. That was just a mere 100 they had taken down. There were 1,900 more waiting for them. Marx was now at the vanguard. Dan was just a step behind him on the side.
He was yet to even draw out his gun. As for today, there was still the usual guns on the waist and two more on his chest. He even stretched after Marx killed the 100th. All this time, they had come across at most a pair but this time, they first encountered five.
Marx realized that this was the perfect time to remove his pistols. He stood in front of Dan and the two pistols appeared in his hands. He pointed them at the five and the muzzles in his wrist appeared.
He aimed at two with the pistols and the rest three of them were aimed with the laser bullets. The five were quick to react and they reached their machine guns when they saw someone point pistols to them.
Marx fired and two bullets tore through the air and aimed at two guys. It happened almost instantly. The bullets reached them in less than a second and they were perfectly aimed at the middle part of their forehead.
The next shocking scene was the explosion. The bullets exploded inside the head and blood sprayed on the three as the two headleass bodies fell on the ground. Marx blew the smoke from the muzzles as he joined Dan.
The remaining three could not understand why they had been spared. Could it be that they were invisible? That was very unprobable. It could only mean that the masked man did not take them seriously.
He dared ignore armed enemies. They aimed at the two who were just walking past them. But they dropped one by one not knowing what happened. But it was simple. They focused on the normal bullets that their brains automatically ignored the laser bullets.
"Those are superb pistols you created. I wonder what is inside the bullets that. Caused the heads to explode?" Dan was curious.
"Just a few modifications here and there and I get the perfect results," Marx did not go to the details.
It was not time to explain his actions. He also did not feel like doing so.
"You are no fun at all. But I like it," Dan said after a sigh. Marx was not the one to get motivated by compliments. He had his own self to motivate.
He hastened his speed and two gunshots rung as two bodies fell from the rooftops. Dan just sighed. The kid had the skills but he did not know about stealth. For all he knew now, the four gunshots had attracted the enemies.
It was going to get worse after the enemy opened fire. But he could still see the logic behind this. Going stealthly was just dumping more work for yourself in the future. It was better to not procrastinate and take them all out when you have the chance.
This logic, he did not like it. It had no strategy in it. It was a rookies battle style. But again his thought contradicted the previous one as he thought in a new way. In the presence of absolute strength schemes were useless.
With strength, why bother with schemes in first place. He could already tell that it was almost impossible to deplete the kid's stamina. After every battle, he never heard the kid take in deep breaths to catch his breath. It could only mean he was never tired even after battle in the first place.
Again, there was a new number of around ten. Dan realized that it was his time to act. This time, he was not going to hold back. It was like his guns appeared in his hands instantly and in the split seconds, ten gunshots rang and ten bodies dropped with headshots.
Marx was yet to even fire his first shot. He glanced at Dan and he realized the disparity between them. As far as Marx knew, Dan could be ranked above the Elites! Yet, he was not working for the Empire...
"Your bullets are fast but the question here is, are you?" Dan asked and Marx fell in deep thoughts. Dan was right. What he needed most was speed. In terms of numbers, sometimes strength lost to speed...
" I take that as a lesson from you. Thanks for the enlightenment," Marx said and focused on his speed. If he used his speed at full, it was possible that he would achieve what Dan had if he used his speed to the fullest and went all out.
But it was still too early to do go all out...
