These guards had just been thinking of taking him in as a junior brother but now they were on high alert. They knew that not even a normal bullet could cause death in seconds no matter how fatal it was. Especially when it came to them who trained their bodies to improve their stats.
What shook them was the fact that the dead guys did not know they were dead until they dropped dead. Never to know what exactly killed them. That brat's fist was not even that strong. But they carried some strength. This what what had shocked them initially.
What they did not know was that even if they checked the cause of death, they would only find the hole but not the bullet. These bullets had the property of dissipating into one's body and gnawing on their internal organs.
If they were checked, the heart was no more. Marx raised his eyes to look that the four men who were wary of him. Now they had raised their guards. They were even thinking more clearly and carefully.
But that was the mistake they did. Overthinking. Had they gone with the first line of thinking, they would have been safer. He watched as they pointed their guns at him. But something shocking was already happening.
With him activating Night Vision, he could see the trajectories of the four guns pointing at him. The men seemed to come at a tacit agreement and all fired at the same time. But who could have thought that night vision had such a super funtion.
Even before the bullets were fired, he had moved. Activating Back Thrust to thrust himself upward. The four men did not even register his disappearance. Marx had not expected it to be so effective. He was fifty meters in the air with Halo Steps glowing on the sole of his feet.
The bullets missed their target and went for kilometers before they finally lost their momentum and stopped on their own. What they had in mind was that he had vanished by teleportation. What type of teleportation could activate instantly? Where exactly had this brat come from?
With their fear rising, the commander of the group gave his order.
"Get into formation everyone back to back. Shoot to kill at sight!" He roared and the three men did as instructed. One could see how they struggled to keep their wobbly feet straight.
If one told them that they would have weak knees due to a kid, they would have laughed but now they were facing it. What was even worse was that they could not see him. From their logic, he had teleported and he could appear in any direction.
That was why the commander had called for this formation. They were supposed to be battle veterans but to be played like this was an insult. Every one of them had their eyes focused. Their ears alert such that even a pin drop sound would not miss them.
Marx looked at them amused. He like Fist Torpedoes but the laser bullets they released were only available after punching or so he thought. How could he have not guessed that he could fire them without punching?
"Is there a way to shoot without punching?" He asked hoping he was correct.
He could also punch without shooting. It was the system that revealed this to him. He could activate either one, two or the three nozzles. He activated the three and he was shocked to find out that he could also trace the trajectories of his laser bullets.
He walked and stopped right above them. There was something he wanted to test if it was possible. Activating all the nozzles, he pointed them at the four men. Form how they were standing close to each other pushing each other's back, they were more vulnerable to aerial attacks.
There was no way they could survive a Super Bullet. His thoughts were now going astray. Marx refocused and pointed his fist at them. The green trajectory lines pointed at three men. One would hit a man in the head, the other one would hit the neck of another and the last one would hit the back.
As he had thought, killing humans was super easy. All he had to do was to clench his muscles and the bullets fired following the trajectories he had seen through. From how far he was from them, they could not even hear the pop sound.
It was without suspense. The bullets hit the three men targeted at the designated parts. They were still pushing each others back when they all came to standstill. The untouched man also did not move unsure why his comrades had stopped.
It was like for half a minute when he heard a drop on the snow. He had not moved the half a minute but when he did, he was shocked that he almost swallowed his Adam's apple. Blood was dripping and dying the snow red from each one of them. He was not sure how they had died. But his shock did not last long.
He stared at the bodies of his comrades. They both had a fatal wound that resorted to death. They fell one by one like empty sacks. He wanted to run but where could he run to? He had lost all reason.
He should have informed the rest but he did not have the mind to do so. He snapped and reached for the communication device on his waist but it was too late. His hand did not reach halfway before he dropped dead. A hole on the back of his head.
Marx did not descend immediately. It was like he was going through the fact that he had killed six humans. But he did not feel any emotion. Instead, he lost another piece of his heart. But all this was happening unaware to Marx.
He gazed at the bodies and descended. He walked towards them and picked the communication device. It was like a cube. The cube had a small antenna. Marx then tied ot in his waist. He looked for any important belongings but there was none.
He decided to get rid of the bodies and send them to the afterlife safely. He carried all the bodies and piled them together into a heap.
After that, he activated Flame Hurtle and burned the bodies. One seeing him could have thought it was a pile of rubbish but not human bodies.
After the bodies were nothing but ash, he walked to the entrance. The opening mechanism was just a pull and the door would open. He was met but a flight of stairs which even with the night vision he couldn't see end to.
He sighed and bent himself to the best he could in order to fit in the door. He then walked down the stairs for what felt like forever. The good thing was that there were no traps.
Night Vision enabled him to see traps so as to evade them but he had found none. After almost eight minutes, he finally saw the edge of the stairs. He heaved a sigh as he took the last step.
Any professional or expert assassin would facepalm when they saw him. This boy... He did not even try to hide his presence. One could have thought of him as one of the guards yet he was walking nonchalantly like it was his home.
Not even bothering to sneak peek. This was unbridled confidence and arrogance. Why hide in the first place. As long as he could wipe them out, why waste time hiding from them. Maybe even the one monitoring him could not help but facepalm. Where did he get this confidence from?
Marx finally found his way into the round hall. It appeared to have several computer screens and keyboards with only three buttons. Marx saw the eight scientists racking their brains but he did not even spare them another glance.
Even when they noticed him, they watched patiently to see what he was doing. Marx seeing that they were not arrogantly throwing words at him could not help but smile and threw a glance at them.
To rile them up, he went to one of the keyboards and pressed it. The eight who had been in different positions all looked at him and a man with the number 13 spoke.
"Hey, hey, don't touch anything. Everything here is as it should be. I don't know who you are but please, be careful or something bad might happen" the man said.
As he spoke, another one was already alerting the guards. His number was 17. But how could they have known that Marx had the communication device. They had used Neuro Link transmission hoping to catch him offguard but the projection from the communication device made him look down in shame.
Marx had a smile on his handsome features. He really loved to toy with these high IQ people. From their dressing, he could tell that they were experts of experts. Just how could they fair in a mind game?
"Listen boy, I don't know how you got in but the guards will be here soon. Do not expect to leave this place alive" the number 10 scientist spoke.
" Don't you think that you are the ones trespassing and that the guard is already here to make sure you don't leave this place alive?" Marx asked. He seemed to use their words against them everytime.
The eight scientists looked at each other. They seemed to understand his words clearly but what happened next even Marx could not have expected. Maybe only those monitoring him knew what was happening.
