Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Departure

Jinwoo stood at the edge of the platform, watching as the train carrying Sooah disappeared into the distance. The cold wind whipped around him, mirroring the emptiness he felt inside. She was leaving, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He stood there, frozen, as if rooted to the spot, his mind replaying their last conversation over and over.

"You know we can't keep doing this," Sooah had said, her voice trembling. "We're hurting each other too much."

Jinwoo had tried to argue, to tell her they could work it out, but deep down, he knew she was right. Now, as the train became a small dot on the horizon, he realized just how much he had taken her for granted. He had let his pride and anger push her away, and now she was gone.

He had been so confident, so sure that their love could withstand anything. But he had been wrong. As he walked back to his apartment, the reality of her absence began to sink in. The place felt empty, devoid of the warmth and laughter that Sooah had brought into his life.
