By the time Liang Fei and Fatty arrived at the crime scene, the police had already tightly secured the area.
Outside, a crowd of onlookers gathered beyond the police tape, pointing and commenting amongst themselves.
Liang Fei had Fatty park the car in a spot before they jumped out and tried to squeeze through, but they were stopped by two policemen: "I'm sorry, a murder has occurred inside, you can't go in."

Just as Liang Fei was about to speak, he saw Shen Xing not far away had noticed him, and she waved at the two policemen, signaling them to let them pass.
These two policemen had just been transferred from the precinct and naturally did not recognize Liang Fei, but seeing that team leader Shen Xing had spoken, they dared not delay and stepped aside to let Liang Fei and Fatty through.
