Chapter 19 - Talents.

Other cultivators were called up to showcase their talents; some were disqualified, and some qualified.

"Next, Ling Wei."

Ling Wei went up to the arena and merely blinked. Suddenly, the well-crafted sculpture in front of her shattered into pieces, stunning everyone, even the white-haired men.

"This..." the man in the middle stammered, giving Ling Wei an incredulous gaze.

"Young lady, what did you cultivate in?" asked the man on the left.

Ling Wei didn't speak; she rarely communicated with strangers and instead proved her element through action. She floated in the air, and her simple-looking dress slowly transformed into a seductive, revealing green outfit starting from her shoes. She opened her eyes seductively and gracefully descended to the ground. With a snap of her fingers, a radiant light washed over her, showcasing her peerless beauty. Her green hair danced happily in the air, resembling a descending angel.

"Isn't this the seduction technique? She is a destructive seductress cultivator!" someone among the lined-up students commented.

"Goodness! I was there in the registration room, I saw her; she is only a Stage One Mid Beginner, Level Two. Yet she could destroy the sculpture without even moving or casting a spell," another person said.

"This really shocks me; I thought she was only oppressing us in the registration room with her higher level of cultivation. I didn't expect her to be so powerful!"

"It would be a great fortune to be in the same class as her, but it's a pity that I didn't cultivate in seduction."

"A true genius! A true genius!"

"How marvelous that she destroyed the sculpture before her time was up! Which parent gave birth to such a tempting talent?"

Murmurs spread among the students as the elders listened attentively. They exchanged glances, and the man in the middle spoke.

"You truly impress this old man, young talent." A chuckle followed his words, and then a bamboo stick appeared in front of Ling Wei.

This stick was slightly different from the Du Bie stick. While the Du Bie stick was a wet green in color, Ling Wei's stick was dull green. Even though it was dull in view, the oppression it emitted was very rich; even Du Bie stick stood no chance beside this dull green bamboo stick.

"Your talent and speed in understanding cultivation are very moving;you are indeed a rare talent. I present you with this second-grade ID. Your position will be high in the class you will be assigned to, and you will qualify for the inner class as well. Go to the next room to round up your tests, and good luck to you," the man said with a smile on his aged face.

Ling Wei said nothing and didn't even nod. She grabbed the stick and descended from the arena, stealing a glance at Han Jun, who gave her a light smile before walking out of the hall.

"She's a rare talent. With a little more effort, she could become the pride of the school," the white-haired man in the left seat commented.

"Mm," the remaining two elders nodded in agreement.

"Next... Shu Fang!"

Shu Fang stepped onto the arena and faced the men.

"Erm... could you please lift your veil?" the man on the left asked, curious about Shu Fang's appearance.

A low chuckle escaped Shu Fang's lips. "I'm afraid if I lift my veil, you will bleed to death," she replied in her usual calm voice. However, unintentionally, her voice held a great threat in the hearts of the three men, evoking feelings of worship.

The men exchanged uneasy looks and realized they were all experiencing the same overwhelming emotions. They wanted to resist their feelings, but the harder they fought against them, the greater the pressure intensified.

Suddenly, the sculpture prepared for Shu Fang exploded into pieces with a loud bang, as if it had been struck by a time bomb.

"What's going on? How did the sculpture shatter?" someone in the crowd asked.

"That lady didn't even pay attention to it yet! Why did it suddenly explode?" another person inquired.

"I am utterly confused."

The students gazed at Shu Fang in shock and disbelief.

Shu Fang seemed to realize something and, with great composure, put her powers under control. "Pardon me; my powers tend to get out of control most of the time," she said.

The three men breathed a sigh of relief as they felt the overwhelming weight lifted off them. They all regarded Shu Fang with a peculiar gaze, and the only thought in their hearts was, "Has the cultivators' academy done something right to deserve two great talents in just one day?"

"Erm..." the man seated in the middle cleared his throat. "What element do you cultivate?"

I cultivated no elements, but I am a nature cultivator. "Shu Fang replied."

Everyone gasped in shock; even the elders' eyes were wide open.

"Nature Cultivator!". They echo together in shock

There are two classes of cultivation: Nature and Elements. Nature cultivators are the most revered in Hermen world. It's said that those who cultivate in nature always advance rapidly in their cultivation, reaching the God stage at a very young age. Nature cultivators are extraordinary beings; if a single one were to appear in the Hermen world, they would be treated like a deity even before reaching the God stage. They might even receive an invitation from the king.

"Tell me, young talent, which nature cultivator are you?" the man in the middle asked, excitement evident on his face.

Shu Fang noticed the excitement in the old man's voice and sighed. "I am not sure," she replied.

The man's happiness slowly faded, and he looked heartbroken, but he soon composed himself. "It's not bad, too; the cultivators' academy accepts individuals who don't have a complete understanding of their powers as well. You are a treasure to our academy," he said. Then a black bamboo stick appeared in front of Shu Fang. The oppressive aura it radiated held more authority than Ling Wei's; just by looking at its color, one could tell it was far more than precious.

Seeing the bamboo stick, the students were shocked once more, while Shu Fang's mouth twitched slightly.

"Look, isn't that the first-grade ID?" someone among the students asked.

"I think it is; I can feel its oppressive presence," another student replied.

"She deserves it! A cultivator of the nature element; she is a rare find."

"I think she will be treated separately and will have access to many things, including the library," another person said.

Upon hearing "the library" in the conversation, Han Jun's eyes widened, and he looked at the student who spoke last. "Tell me, can someone with a second-grade ID access the library?" he asked.

The young man shook his head. "I heard that the library is a special place reserved for only the most talented students with a first-grade ID. Second-grade ID students and below are not allowed," he explained.

"Goodness!" Han Jun exclaimed, his eyes wide open. "This heartbreaking book didn't inform me that entering the library wouldn't be easy," he cursed inwardly.

"Also, it's said that only one was available at the academy after three hundred thousand years. And another will appear after another three hundred thousand years. This lady here is really lucky," the young man's envious voice sounded again.

"What are you saying?" Han Jun almost screamed as he looked at Shu Fang, who remained silent. "How can I get the first grade ID? I don't even know if I cultivate in Elements or Nature. Tsk, what am I saying? Am I even a cultivator? Goodness... what to do? What to do." He clenched his fists, his gaze fixed on Shu Fang, hoping for her to look his way.

Not disappointing, Shu Fang turned her head in Han Jun's direction. Immediately, Han signaled to her that he wanted the first grade ID.

Shu Fang frowned, unable to understand why Han Jun needed it, but she said nothing and looked at the old man. "Can I reject this?"
