Dimitri sat in his dimly lit room, fingers clutching his phone tightly. His heart raced, eyes glued to the screen where a small red dot blinked on the map—a tracker, hidden on Lucas. The dot hovered in an unfamiliar, dangerous neighborhood, one that brought back unwelcome memories.

His breath hitched, and a wave of anger surged through him...Kane .

The last time Lucas had ventured out into a place like this, Kane had been involved. It couldn't be a coincidence. The thought of Lucas being with that man again drove Dimitri to the edge of obsession. His chest tightened, fury coursing through him like a storm, making it hard to think clearly. What was Lucas doing out there, in that run-down part of town? What if Kane had done those disgusting *things* with him again.

Dimitri's hand shook as he hovered over the call button. His people could track Lucas, but something stopped him. He needed to act quickly—needed to find out why Lucas would go there, if Kane had lured him in again. His fingers twitched, a thousand scenarios running through his mind, none of them good.

He slammed his fist down, his jaw clenching. **Lucas didn't belong with Kane. He belonged with him.** And Dimitri would make sure he never let that snake pull Lucas away again. Not this time.

Tension coiled in his chest like a wire pulled too tight. He'd go there himself, find Lucas, and drag him back. Before Kane could twist him further.

Dimitri rose from the chair in one swift motion, his body trembling with a mix of rage and determination. His eyes, still fixed on the red dot on the phone, blazed with an intensity that was almost frightening. **Kane had taken enough.**

Without a second thought, Dimitri moved to the far wall of his room, fingers expertly pressing against the hidden seam in the wallpaper. The panel slid open with a soft hiss, revealing a small, concealed storage compartment. Inside, gleaming in the dim light, was a gun—sleek, black, and cold.

His breath quickened as he reached for it. With practiced precision, he pulled out the pieces and began assembling it. His fingers moved deftly, snapping parts into place as if it were second nature. The familiar weight of the weapon in his hand gave him a sense of control, of power.

**This ends tonight.**

Kane had been a constant thorn in his side, always lingering around Lucas, always pulling him into the darkness. Dimitri's jaw clenched as he tightened the last piece on the gun. He couldn't stand it anymore—the thought of Lucas being with Kane again made something inside him snap.

As he loaded the magazine and cocked the gun, a cold resolve settled over him. He tucked the weapon into the waistband of his jeans, his movements sharp and deliberate.

No more waiting. No more games. Dimitri would take care of Kane once and for all.

He grabbed his phone again, tracking Lucas's location with pinpoint precision. **This time, Kane wouldn't escape.**

Just as Dimitri finished his preparations, a slow, mocking clap echoed through the room, reverberating off the walls. His heart dropped, and he spun around, gun raised quickly, to face the darkened corner where Kane stood, a wicked grin plastered across his face.

"Impressive, Dimitri. I didn't think you had it in you." Kane said, his voice smooth and laced with amusement.

Dimitri's grip tightened on the gun, every muscle in his body tense and ready for a fight. "How did you get in here?" he demanded, anger boiling just beneath the surface.

"Just admiring your little setup," Kane replied, stepping into the dim light, his demeanor casual despite the threat of the weapon aimed at him.

Dimitri's gaze narrowed, his anger boiling over as Kane approached with an air of mock nonchalance. "What are you doing here, Kane?" he barked, not bothering to hide the venom in his voice. "Why were you in that area?"

Kane's smirk faltered for a split second, surprise flickering across his features before he masked it with confusion. "How do you know where I was?" he asked, his tone feigning innocence.

Dimitri stepped forward, his voice low and dangerous. "I don't need to know how; I just need to know why. What do you want with Lucas?" Each word dripped with fury, fueled by the images of Lucas in Kane's company that haunted him.

Kane chuckled, but the amusement quickly faded. He crossed his arms, his expression shifting to one of irritation. "Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to help him, Dimitri.Do you think I'm an idiot .I know Lucas inside and out and I know your not good for him."

Dimitri scoffed, the incredulity in his voice unmistakable. "Help? You think dragging him into your messed up world is helping him? You're the last person who should be near him."

Kane's eyes darkened, and his casual demeanor morphed into a scowl. "What the hell do you know about what he needs? You think you're some kind of savior?"

"I'm the only one who gives a damn about him!" Dimitri shouted, the gun steady in his grasp, his resolve unshaken. "You're nothing but a parasite, feeding off his pain."

Kane stepped closer, his expression turning serious, the amusement stripped away. "You really think you can keep him away from me? That you can protect him?" His voice dripped with contempt. "He wants excitement, danger—things you'll never understand."

Dimitri's heart raced at Kane's words. Lucas craved danger? A smile overtook his face for a short while before sneering. "He doesn't need you for that! He needs me!"

Kaneveyes narrowed. "You can't save him from himself. He'll always come back to me."

"Not if I have anything to say about it," Dimitri spat, the weight of the gun weighing down his hands. "I'll make sure of that."

Kane's expression hardened. "You're too late, Dimitri. Lucas is already tangled in my world...He was already apart of it but just didn't know it.And you…" He leaned in, voice low and menacing. "You don't have what it takes to pull him out."

Dimitri's heart thundered in his chest. The tension hung thick in the air, charged with unspoken threats.

"I'll do whatever it takes," Dimitri declared, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside him. "Even if that means taking you down."

Kane raised an eyebrow, his grin returning, but it didn't reach his eyes. "You really think you can scare me with that toy?"

Without warning, Dimitri advanced, the gun aimed steadily at Kane. "This isn't a game," he warned, eyes blazing with determination. "Get away from Lucas. Leave him alone, or I swear—"

"Or you'll what?" Kane interrupted, stepping even closer, an insidious smile creeping onto his lips. "You think that little thing will protect you? You think that gun can change what's already been done?"

Dimitri's grip tightened, but a sliver of doubt crept in, feeding his fury. "You are nothing but a man Kane , and you will die with a bullet in your head," he growled, the gun unwavering.

Kane chuckled darkly, eyes gleaming with a mix of amusement and malice. "Oh, Dimitri, I'd love to see you try."

Dimitri's grip tightened on the gun, but he found himself instinctively backing away as Kane advanced, the air thick with unspoken tension. The distance between them shrank, and Dimitri's heart raced. He couldn't let Kane close the gap, but the sinister gleam in Kane's eyes promised a confrontation he wasn't prepared for.

"What's wrong, Dimitri?" Kane taunted, his voice dripping with mock concern. "Scared of me?"

Dimitri kept his gaze steady, his breath quickening as he moved further back until he felt the wall pressing against his back. "You're not getting near him," he shot back, trying to project confidence despite the fear gnawing at him.

Kane chuckled darkly, stepping closer until he stood where Dimitri had been moments before. He casually reached for Dimitri's phone, which had slipped from his grasp during the tension-filled standoff. "What's this?" Kane mused, lifting it with a smirk.

Dimitri's heart sank as he realized what Kane was looking at. "Don't—"

But it was too late. Kane's eyes narrowed as he scrolled through the screen, his expression morphing from playful curiosity to fury. "A tracker?" he seethed, his voice low and menacing. "Why the hell are you tracking my boyfriend?"

Dimitri's pulse quickened, anger and fear colliding in his chest. "He's not your boyfriend," he snapped, the protective instinct flaring up again. "Lucas doesn't belong to you!"

"Don't give me that bullshit!" Kane shot back, his voice rising with each word.

Kane stepped forward, closing the distance, his anger palpable. "You don't get it, do you? You don't know what he wants or needs!"

"I know he needs someone who cares about him!" Dimitri countered, feeling the wall pressing into him as he tried to stand his ground. "Not someone who uses him for their own sick games!"

Kane erupted into laughter, the sound echoing off the walls like a chilling melody. It was hysterical, mocking, and tinged with madness, making Dimitri's skin crawl. "You really don't know, do you?" Kane sneered, his eyes glinting with dark amusement. "You think you can save him? Dimitri, you have no idea how psychotic Lucas truly is."

Kane leaned closer, his grin widening as he savored Dimitri's rising outrage. "A monster, Dimitri! He's more twisted than you could ever comprehend. He's done things—things you wouldn't believe." He stepped back, theatrically spreading his arms wide, the laughter fading to a sinister smile. "He revels in it. The blood, the chaos. It's intoxicating to him."

Dimitri's heart raced, the intensity of his emotions swirling inside him like a storm. "You don't know him! You don't know what he's been through!" The words tumbled from his lips, fueled by a desperate need to defend Lucas, the person he admired, the one who had shown him glimpses of hope amidst the darkness.

Kane's laughter returned, even more derisive than before. "Oh, but I do! I've seen him in action. He's killed before, Dimitri. He's embraced the monster inside him." His voice dropped, low and sinister. "And he enjoyed every second of it."

Dimitri felt something snap within him, rage bubbling to the surface. He took a step closer, a fierce determination in his gaze. "So have I ," he replied, his voice calm and steady, a dangerous undertone lacing his words.

Kane's laughter faltered, surprise flickering across his features. "What?" he asked, incredulity evident in his voice.

"Lucas isn't the only one with blood on his hands," Dimitri said, a small, enigmatic smile creeping onto his lips. He leaned in slightly, locking eyes with Kane, the air between them charged with intensity. "I've killed too. I've embraced the darkness, just like he has."

A silence fell over the room, heavy and oppressive, as Kane's expression shifted from amusement to something darker, more cautious. Dimitri could feel the weight of his words, the truths hidden beneath layers of deception and pain.

"Lucas is not a monster," Dimitri continued, his voice low and fierce. "He's a survivor. He's embracing the darkness and is becoming stronger than you could ever imagine ." Each word was a shield, a barrier against Kane's venomous claims.

Kane's eyes narrowed, suspicion and disbelief etched on his features. "You're either incredibly naïve or hopelessly in love," he shot back, his tone biting.

"Maybe a bit of both," Dimitri admitted, refusing to back down. "But that's what I love about Lucas the most—the fact that he embraces the darkness growing within him. He doesn't run from it; he owns it. It makes him who he is."

Kane stepped back, his expression shifting as he took in Dimitri's unwavering confidence. "You really think you can save him?" he asked, a hint of uncertainty creeping into his voice.

"I will," Dimitri declared, his resolve solidifying.

Kane's demeanor darkened again, the amusement fading entirely. "You're playing a dangerous game, Dimitri. Lucas has a taste for blood, and you might not be able to protect him from himself."

Dimitri took a deep breath, steadying himself as he faced Kane. "I'm not afraid of the darkness. I've embraced it, just like Lucas. That's why we fit together. We understand each other in ways no one else can."

Dimitri's laughter erupted unexpectedly, a sharp, mocking sound that cut through the tense atmosphere. He took a step forward, eyes glinting with a manic energy that surprised even himself. "You really don't know how powerful I am, do you?" His voice dripped with arrogance, and the confidence surged through him like a tidal wave. "You think you can manipulate me, use me against Lucas? You're just another hurtle between me and Lucas growing love."

Dimitri leaned in closer, his breath quickening as a manic gleam filled his eyes. "When you're dead, Kane," he whispered, voice dripping with a twisted glee, "I'll have Lucas all to myself. His body, his mind—he'll be mine completely."

Kane's eyes narrowed, his fury palpable, but Dimitri thrived on the tension. "You think he wants you? You think he needs you?" His voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper, a deranged smile spreading across his face. "No, he'll see you for what you really are—a pathetic joke. And when that moment comes, I'll be right there, ready to ravish him, to show him everything you never could."

Kane clenched his fists, fury bubbling beneath his skin, but Dimitri pressed on, feeling the thrill of his obsession surge. "I'll serve Lucas, worship him like the god he is. I'll make him understand how much power he holds over me, how completely I'll surrender to him. You think I'm obsessed? You have no idea."

His laughter echoed in the dim room, a chilling sound that danced on the edges of madness. "You're just a speed bump in my path. I'll kill anyone who stands between us. I've already stained my hands with blood, and I'll do it again—again and again. I'll make this world burn to have Lucas in my arms."

Kane's face twisted in rage, eyes blazing as he took a step forward, but Dimitri stood firm, his expression a mix of manic determination and psychotic fervor.

Dimitri's voice dropped to a chilling whisper as he leaned in closer, savoring Kane's discomfort. "You'd better watch your back, Kane. Because when you're gone, I'll have Lucas all to myself. I'll show him what real devotion looks like. I'll be the one who embraces the darkness within him, the one who understands him completely. He'll never want to look at you again."

With each word, his psychotic obsession tightened like a vice around Kane, filling the room with an electric tension. "So, make no mistake: I'm not just after Lucas; I'm after everything. I'll remind him of the monster you are, and I'll show him how true darkness can be."

Kane surged forward, his rage boiling over as he threw a punch at Dimitri's jaw. The blow connected with a sickening thud, but Dimitri barely flinched. Instead, he retaliated instantly, his fist crashing into Kane's nose with brutal precision.

A wild, maniacal laugh erupted from Dimitri, echoing off the walls. "You're foolish if you think you can take me down that easily? I'll kill you and everyone who has ever associated with you. " His eyes gleamed with madness as he pulled out the gun, his finger hovering over the trigger.

Before he could pull the trigger, the gun fired, the loud crack filling the room. The bullet struck Kane in the side, a grunt of pain escaping him. Dimitri's laughter morphed into a chilling cacophony, fueled by the chaos of the moment. "Look at you, Kane! You're already falling apart!"

But Kane wasn't finished. With a growl of frustration, he swiped the gun away from Dimitri, sending it clattering to the floor. In one swift motion, he grabbed Dimitri by the neck, lifting him off the ground as the world around them blurred into a frenzy of adrenaline and fury.

Dimitri gasped, struggling against Kane's grip, but a twisted smile remained plastered across his face. " I'd rather lock Lucas away than let you have him! I'd break his legs if that meant keeping him away from you!"

Kane leaned in closer, their faces inches apart, his voice low and menacing. "You're insane, Dimitri. You think you can keep him like some kind of pet?"

Dimitri's laughter rang out again, a sound that was both terrifying and intoxicating. "If it means he never has to be with you, then yes! I'll keep him safe from your poison, even if it means keeping him in chains!"

Kane tightened his grip, his anger igniting further.

The two stood locked in a deadly embrace, the room thick with tension as they glared at each other, each moment crackling with the promise of violence.

The tension in the room reached a boiling point, every breath heavy with the promise of violence, when the door suddenly burst open. Lucas stormed in, disheveled and wild-eyed, his hair a tangled mess, clothes askew as if he had just fought his way through a storm.
