A few minutes ago…
As soon as Jason heard the rules, his soul sense scoured the arena. Thanks to his soul reaching the third realm, he could extend his soul sense up to a five hundred mile radius easily.
He was able to detect peoples age, cultivation base, even their elemental affinities. With no one the wiser, Jason was able to determine his overwhelming advantage against every opponent eligible for the tournament.
'No one in this age group is even close to my cultivation level… not even that elf kid, who is in the middle stage of Core Condensation Realm. This will be a piece of cake.'
So, Jason confidently jumped down to the arena. Announced his challenge to all the participants.

Present time…
The crowd were stunned as they heard the sect master announce to them the prowess of the arrogant youth next to her. They could only shut their mouth and wait for her decision.
"So… to make this fair to everyone present. Kyle here will have to face off against all the participants, one by one. Until he loses, or… until he wins… against every one."
'…what?'
'I didn't have to do this… why did I do this? I'm such an idiot sometimes…'
Jason thought in his mind, but his face showed no change in expression. Also, the mask helped.
The crowd erupted in cheers, some of them laughing at the misfortune of the arrogant young master.
"So, Kyle. You think you're up to it?" The sect master said mockingly.
"I did say come one, come all. This doesn't change anything. In fact, it's better this way! Although I may be late for dinner…" Jason shrugged nonchalantly. Earning a chuckle from the sect master.
'I'm sure if I showed my real cultivation, which is in the middle of the Martial Spirit Realm, this situation would turn out very different… I might not even have this chance to begin with.' Jason smirked inwardly. A thousand Core Condensation Realm brats will never be able to tire him out.
…
That came out wrong.
"Well then! I'll pick one qualified so the elders can organize the rest of the participants. You, the boy with the bamboo hat, you look ridiculous." The sect master said, pointing at a young man in the crowd.
The kid blushed deeply, but the hat stayed on, obscuring his reddened face. Alas, he ascended to the arena, facing Jason as he cupped his hands.
"My name is Lou Zhang. Young master of the Zhang Clan." Lou said as he bowed slightly in a show of respect.
"Sure, whatever. I'll give you the first move." Jason said as he picked away at his ear with his pinky finger.
Lou Zhang looked at Jason with scorn, in the next breath, Lou brandished his sword and dashed with tremendous speed towards Jason.
Lou Swung his sword from a low stance, aiming at Jason's private parts. When he thought his sword was about to touch his crotch, Jason leapt a few meters back. Looking at Lou with raised eyebrows.
"Aiming for my balls? That's just low bro…" Jason shook his head, nonchalantly walking to where Lou stood frozen.
he couldn't fathom how his slash couldn't reach him. Lou looked up only to see a fist.
The first collided with his face. Lou fell like a puppet with its strings cut off.
"World Star! Haha!" Jason laughed as Lou Zhang fell face first to the ground, unconscious.
Jason grabbed Lou and threw him out of the arena, Lou retainer, with a bamboo hat, came down and caught him, all the while glaring at Jason.
Smiling smugly, Jason turned to the long line of competitors glaring at him, their fiery spirit ignited as they wanted nothing but to beat the shit out of this arrogant prick.
"Next!" Jason yelled as he put his hands in his pockets.
"Impressive! Kyle only needed one hit to incapacitate Lou Zhang! Pray tell… do you also practice body cultivation?" The Shadowheart Sect Master said as she floated like a fairy above the arena.
"W-What!? A body cultivator at his age!? Impossible!"
"At fifteen years of age… what is the past of this young man…"
"D-Diamond Body Realm! He's at the Diamond Body Realm!?"
"To think someone can keep up with both cultivation systems… what a monstrous talent!"
The crowd erupted in a chorus of disbelief and speculation. Some of them simply didn't believe it, even with the evidence right in front of them.
"Truly marvelous! You might have a chance yet to claim the lonely heart of our top disciple! Keep it up, boy." The Sect Master said as she floated up to the highest platform housing Sarah.
Jason could only look up to see Sarah glaring down at him.
'Never thought I'd see the day where Sarah would look at me like that… Can't blame her really. I am being obnoxious here…' Jason said to himself, he also flashed a smile at Sarah, which only made her glare at more.
'The way she's looking at me… it might awaken something in me~.'
"Next contestant! You, with the huge sword! Come forth!" The sect master said, pointing at a tall and muscular man.
The man didn't waste any seconds as he leapt to the fray, he cupped his hands, then immediately brandished his black, gigantic sword.
"Just so you all know, if anyone is amputated, they're immediately disqualified. We wouldn't want anymore damage to your precious young masters, do we?" The sect master declared, returning to her seat.
"Begin!" As soon as she said, the sword wielder dashed with unbelievable speed, but as soon as swept with his sword, Jason jumped, and with a roundhouse kick, he kicked the man's face square in the jaw, where he was flung all the way out of the arena.
"I thought you would be a challenge… alas, another disappointment…" Jason said offhandedly.
The man was sprawled on the ground, his jaw dislocated. But he couldn't feel anything as he was unconscious. A man came to him to check his injuries, seeing that he was live, he sighed in relief, then carried outside the arena, all the while glaring at Jason.
"Huh? That was too fast! Kyle! You can at least put on a show!" The sect master said, pouting at Jason.
Jason scratched the back of his head " Haha! Sorry Shadowheart Sect Master, I just thought he could take it! Didn't think he would be so weak!"
"And I don't have all day, ya know? I just want my prize to take home with me, that's all." I put my hands behind my head, smiling wickedly as I stole glances at Sarah, who in turn continued her glaring.
'You should seriously stop with the glare, Sarah… I can only get so erect!'
