"Ughhh..." I groaned, rolling out of bed. My head was pounding, and the sunlight streaming through the curtains felt like daggers to my eyes.
As I moved, my dark black hair fluttered slightly, and my slightly open golden eyes caught the brightness of the morning.
"Ah..." I muttered, rubbing my forehead with concern. It was a brand new day, yet I could already feel the strain that would linger throughout.
I rose from my king-sized bed, greeted by a luxurious and well-maintained room.
Other than my bed and wardrobe, nothing besides the art hanging on the walls caught my eye.
