My name was called after a few cadets, and I slowly made my way toward the orb.

Everyone was silent, and only the sound of my footsteps resonated across the entire ground.
The cadets before me had such overwhelming affinities that almost everyone was silent, paying full attention to see whether the next cadet had as powerful an affinity as the previous ones.

Soon, I reached the orb, and Miss Evangeline's voice reached my ear.

As she spoke, I extended my arms toward the transparent orb, and different colors began to illuminate within it.
First, pitch black, followed by a quick succession of blue, yellow, purple, red, orange, green, and finally dark gray.
Bright, shiny colors soon began to form, just as before.
