Chapter 21 - Leila

I started to run through the meeting location Though I called it a meeting it was just a treat by Adrian's sister- the one who was the victim of his father's violence. I reached their house after some time- even though I had run so much I still didn't feel a shortage of breath- considering my age just 6 I would probably be caged and experimented in my previous world if I had strength like this.

I knocked at the door and the door opened very quickly- it looked like they had been waiting for me for some time, I should have probably come sooner but you can't do anything about spilled milk. She was a petite dynamo, a mere 165 centimetres of explosive energy.

Her obsidian hair pulled taut into a high ponytail, framed a face with captivating, dark, almond-shaped eyes that held a mysterious depth. Her skin was a rich, velvety ebony, warm and inviting to the touch.

Her figure was a striking contrast of delicate and curvaceous. A wasp waist, impossibly slender at less than thirty centimetres, led to a fuller, feminine lower body. Her breasts, full and inviting, hinted at the promise of softness beneath the loose, kimono-like garment.

The fabric draped over her body like liquid silk, hinting at the curves concealed beneath, igniting the imagination, she had the look of a sexy onee chan who does 'Ara Ara'.

She invited me into the house and for an inexplicable moment I felt like a protagonist in a R18 game. It was not simply just because I was aroused, but because she was simply that beautiful and captivating, Her allure was overwhelming to an ordinary person like me.

She went by Leila, which means "night" or "black," as I recall. This name is a variant of Layla, which is derived from the Arabic word al-Layl. In ancient Arabian and Persian folklore, Leila played a prominent role in the night's associations with enchantment, mystery, and beauty. It may not have the same meaning in this world because it is obviously different from mine.

"Welcome, Dustin"

She said this with a charming face with dimples forming on her mouth, I stepped into the house was not expensive or in simple terms it was very cheap even when considering the standards of the village, but I still felt this place's warmth.

This warmth might be because of the happy atmosphere between these siblings, I thought what would have happened if I hadn't helped them would they still be so happy?

With a tray of steaming mugs, Adrian emerged from the kitchen. Placing the tray on the table, he said, "Hey, Dustin! Glad you could make it.".

"Please take a seat. Get warmed up. "The aroma of hot cocoa wafted into the room as I sat down at the table. The cups provided a pleasant source of warmth, and I cupped one in my hands and enjoyed the warmth that permeated my skin.

" It tastes good-Oh right thanks for inviting me"

I said this while looking at Leila, she smiled slightly and said to me "It was nothing compared to what you had done for us". I just shook my head at her words as I didn't feel I had done something great.

It's normal for a person to help others if they don't lose anything in return, anyone else would have the same but I am not sure if I would have done the same thing if it was disadvantageous to me.

As we settled down, the conversation had flown to their past and how much they suffered. They probably wanted to share their happiness and sadness with their saviour.

The atmosphere was warm as I absorbed everything they said and listened to their childhood tales occasionally adding things, it was a stark contrast to the solitary life I have lived until now.

These siblings lived and depended on each other becoming each other support during the harsh times, I felt I would feel alienated in this warmth they secreted but somehow I became part of this warmth.

Hours passed away quickly, The warmth from the fire and the comfort of good company from these siblings created a haven from the harsh cold outside.

The evening drew to a close, I was prepared to go to my home and end this small chatter of ours. Leila seeing this stopped me and walked inside a room, I could suddenly hear someone cursing Leila.

This was probably the father of these 2 who was crippled by the old man, it looks like even though how he treated these 2 they are still taking care of him.

Leila came out of the room while holding a red scarf, she looked at me apologising when she saw me looking at the room where the curses were coming from.

"A little gift to you to keep you warm"

She said this to me while handing the red scarf to me, I looked at her and thanked her for this and told her I would treasure it, the smile that had disappeared after coming out of that room came back after hearing my words.

I finally stepped out of the house while covering the scarf around my neck, the night was colder than the day but the warmth I received from these was carried on my heart.

As I reached my training ground, I paused, looking back at the village lights twinkling in the distance. I felt a renewed sense of purpose, a determination to push through the challenges ahead. The journey was far from over, but I knew that with the support of friends like Adrian and his sister, I could face whatever lay ahead.

The journey was far from over. The road ahead was paved with uncertainty, but with each step, I inched closer to my goal. The forest, once a place of solitude, now felt like a companion, a silent witness to my growth. As I entered the familiar clearing, I took a deep breath, the cold air filling my lungs. It was time to push my limits once more.
