**Hoshino Chiyuki LP: 650**
Field: Monster Card [Heroic Spirit - Shirou Emiya]
**Mai Valentine LP**
Field:
- [Harpie Lady + Cyber Shield ATK]
- [Harpie Lady 2 + Rose Whip ATK]
- [Harpie Lady 3 + Mage Power ATK]
- Continuous Trap Card [Hysteric Party]
"You did well, Lancer," said Shirou Emiya, who had been specially summoned. "But, Master, I don't really like making an entrance this way."
Watching Lancer's repeated deaths had even stirred Emiya's anger.
"I'm sorry, Emiya, but given the current situation, this is the only way to achieve victory," Hoshino said apologetically. "If we don't win, how can we honor Lancer's sacrifice?"
"Hmph, you're right," Emiya smiled slightly and gripped his twin swords, Kanshou and Bakuya, tighter. "Let's finish this quickly, Master. Let's show them what we're made of!"
[Heroic Spirit - Shirou Emiya ★★★★★★ Flame][Spellcaster/Effect]
The last card Hoshino drew from her ten-time summon was [Heroic Spirit - Shirou Emiya]. Although she didn't get a five-star card, two four-star cards in one pull was still considered quite lucky.
This card was now Hoshino's last hope.
"My turn, I activate the spell card [Crane Wing Triple Attack]!" Hoshino placed the spell card on the table as Emiya threw his twin swords.
[Crane Wing Triple Attack Spell Effect: Can only be activated by targeting a monster with 'Heroic Spirit' in its name. The targeted monster's ATK is halved, but it can attack three times this turn. The targeted monster cannot attack directly.]
[Heroic Spirit - Shirou Emiya ATK → 1100]
"Hoshino, what are you doing? With your monster's original ATK, you could have defeated one of my Harpies," Mai said, puzzled. "Now, you can't even beat one. What's the point of attacking three times?"
Confident in her victory, Mai looked down on Hoshino, thinking her last-minute summon of a six-star monster wouldn't change the outcome.
"Do you think I'm a third-rate duelist who makes such rookie mistakes?" Hoshino crossed her arms over her chest, her presence filling the field. "Don't underestimate me, Mai!"
"I activate Heroic Spirit Shirou Emiya's special effect."
[During your Battle Phase, this card can copy all Equip Spell Cards on the opponent's field and equip them to itself. Destroy all copied Equip Spell Cards at the end of the Battle Phase.]
"Trace On (Gradation Air)!" Emiya's twin swords reappeared in his hands after being thrown.
"Copy, Cyber Shield!" [Shirou Emiya ATK → 1600]
"Copy, Rose Whip!" [Shirou Emiya ATK → 1900]
"Copy, Mage Power! Since I have three Equip Spell Cards on the field, Emiya's ATK increases by 1500." [Shirou Emiya ATK → 3400]
Throwing three pairs of swords, Emiya charged forward.
"!!" Everything happened so fast that Mai was still in shock.
"Emiya, attack Harpie Lady!" The thrown swords took a strange trajectory, returning to slice Harpie Lady's back.
Harpie Lady destroyed, Mai LP → 1900
In the same way, the second pair of swords destroyed Harpie Lady 2, Mai LP → 200
"With two Harpie Ladies destroyed, the respective Equip Cards are sent to the graveyard, reducing Harpie Lady 3's ATK by 1000."
[Harpie Lady 3 ATK → 2400]
Precise calculations and meticulous strategy. Hoshino was now clearly above most duelists in this world.
"Crane Wing Triple Attack, Heart of Stone!" Emiya charged at Harpie Lady 3, with the returning swords by his side.
"It's over, Mai!" Hoshino and Emiya said in unison.
"This is my final Crane Wing Triple Attack!"
Harpie Lady 3 destroyed!
Mai LP: 200 → 0
"The duel is over. The winner is Hoshino Chiyuki!"
The booming electronic voice snapped Mai out of her daze.
"I... I lost?" Mai asked herself incredulously, looking at her zero LP.
"Yes! Hoshino won!" Anzu waved her arms excitedly, congratulating Hoshino on stage.
Unlike Anzu, Yugi and Jounouchi were still in shock.
"That Hoshino is incredibly strong!" The spectators began to murmur.
"Although Mai is impressive, Hoshino Chiyuki is also powerful."
"I thought Mai had won, but in just one turn, Hoshino completely turned the tables."
"She made the impossible possible in an instant."
"She may look cute, but I don't want to duel against someone like her. I'd definitely lose."
"It's not just Hoshino; I'd probably lose against Mai too."
"Both duelists are so strong. That was an amazing duel."
"Yeah, and both are beautiful. It was an exciting and visually pleasing duel."
"Go, both of you are the best!"
"Thank you for such a wonderful duel."
The spectators began to applaud, giving the two duelists on stage their sincerest praise.
"Yay, Hoshino, I'm a fan now!"
"Mai, don't be discouraged. You're the best, both in skill and looks."
"Hoshino Chiyuki is my waifu!"
Though some odd comments mixed in with the praise, there was no doubt this was an incredible duel.
Mai gracefully handed her duelist stars to Hoshino as she walked off the stage. "Hoshino, you won. You're strong. Even giving it my best, I still lost."
"Hehe, I was just lucky this time. You're very strong too, Mai," Hoshino said shyly, scratching her head. Off the stage, Hoshino seemed like a completely different person, no longer exuding the strong presence she had during the duel.
"But Hoshino, I have to warn you." Mai's gaze turned serious as she glanced around at the spectators. "You've shown such great strength. Be careful of enemies in the dark."
"Enemies in the dark?" Hoshino asked, puzzled.
"Dark Duelist and what they call Shadow Duels.'"
