Normally, fourth-year students were out on missions. They could choose to be escorts along the Eldenfren Capital's North or West Route, join the Tidebreakers—an elite group known as the Anti-Beast Tide Brigade of the North-West Alliance—or cross-enroll with other academic institutions.
However, the fourth-years who had been sent to the Tidebreakers were called back from places like Wyrmport, Hawthorne, and other nearby cities. Their new mission was in the White Forest.
