"Fei, I was waiting for you. You found it yourself? That's amazing. Come on in."
Ode said to the boy, "This is my friend from China, Qiao Fei."
She then said to me, "Fei, this is my brother, Zuzu."
The world is really small, and suddenly I remembered where I had seen this boy before. At the same time, I heard him say, "Right, we've met before, in Paris."
Qiao Fei
Zuzu is Ode's brother, exactly the young man I encountered in Paris. The siblings are both very warm-hearted.
He is a 19-year-old boy, tall and handsome, smiling with his lips pursed, slightly shy, currently on vacation, helping his parents manage their family bakery while they are away.
The Ferrandi family is of Italian descent; their bakery has been around for decades, established by Ode and Zuzu's grandfather. Although small, it is very popular in the neighborhood and quite famous in the area.
"But now, our generation is facing an industry crisis," said Ode.
"It sounds serious. What's going on?" I asked.
