Spring arrived unexpectedly in this city. Unfortunately, it wasn't a beautiful season—sandstorms blew in from Inner Mongolia, and Qiao Fei and I had to change our plans to go to the outskirts. Instead, we ate lunch at a newly-opened Thai restaurant on this weekend's noon.
The restaurant was nicely decorated, lush and green, filled with the scent of bamboo leaves and the sound of Buddhist music. Fei was curious, looking around everywhere.
"Not bad, right?" I said. "I've been here once with a friend, and I thought you'd like it."
"Indeed, it's good." A waiter brought over an opened coconut, and Fei took a sip, "Tasty."
"If you like it, how about we travel there for the May Day holiday?" I asked, trying to please her.
She looked at me: "That's fine, we'll go if we have time."
