"I just got home. Got held up in Shenyang with some stuff. My parents have been giving me an earful too."
As I heard her voice, I actually lost all my anger. The scolding I had blurted out earlier felt a bit melodramatic. Calming myself down, I tried to speak in a lower voice, "What happened? You should at least make a call if you're tied up. Did you miss the train? What did you take to get home?"
"Ah, a coach."
