When Suxin was groggily woken up by Mom Cheng and then sleepily put on her clothes and walked downstairs, she couldn't believe her own eyes. Was she hallucinating this early in the morning? Was that Chen Ziqian sitting with Dad Cheng and Grandpa Cheng, chatting and laughing together?
"Susu, you invited Ziqian over without telling us, so we could've prepared a bit earlier!" Dad Cheng spoke up as soon as he saw Suxin.
"Right, Susu, that's where you went wrong. The guest came over early in the morning to pay a New Year's visit, and here you are, just getting out of bed. It's a good thing Ziqian this young fellow is so considerate, insisting we shouldn't disturb you and let you get more sleep."
Suxin was simply dumbfounded. What was Chen Ziqian up to, showing up at her house out of the blue?
