Chen Ziqian looked at Suxin, watching her as if she had only just remembered that he was the one who had brought her there, feeling a sense of sadness inside. It was the first time he had tasted the bitterness of being ignored, yet he still had to maintain his usual carefree demeanor, smiling.
"You can always find a female companion anyway," Suxin said, her voice trailing off. She didn't feel confident about her words as she knew she was in the wrong, so saying that was just her being unreasonable.
