"Now, everyone line up side by side!"
The gangsters did as they were told upon hearing this.
"Each of you run a lap around the street," Li Chen said, "and if I see anyone not running from behind, I'll hang you up at the bar entrance for three days."
"While running, you all shout 'I am proud' at the top of your lungs, every 5 seconds."
"Did you hear me clearly?" Li Chen barked sternly.
"Heard you loud and clear," the gangsters were all quick-witted.
"Start running now!"
At Li Chen's command, two rows of gangsters began to run outside, shouting as they ran: "I am proud!"
As soon as they left the alley, a series of screams echoed through the streets, along with various exaggerated shouts, "OH MY GOD!"
"I am proud." The gangsters felt like dying; they hurried to run first, planning to find a place to hide halfway through.
"I am proud."
The chant became fainter, and the screaming gradually subsided.
