Upon arrival at the mercenary Guild, the young man's frantic gaze scanned the bustling hallways, searching for a doctor. A staff member, noticing his distress, approached him with a calm smile.

"Can I assist you, young sir?"

"I need a doctor," the young man urged, his voice laced with desperation. "I've been told I have only hours to live."

The staff member's expression turned solemn. "Follow me."

He led the young man to a cozy chamber, where a middle-aged doctor with a kind face and piercing green eyes greeted him.

"I am Doctor Elara. Please, tell me your symptoms."

The young man explained his situation, from the System screen's warning to his frantic search for help. Doctor Elara listened attentively, her eyes narrowing as she took in every detail.

"Let me examine you," she said, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air.

A soft, blue glow enveloped the young man's body, and Doctor Elara's eyes scanned the results.

"Your talent has awakened without cultivation," she concluded, her voice measured. "This has disrupted the balance of qi and blood within you, leading to a rapid depletion of lifespan."

The young man's eyes widened. "What does that mean?"

"Your body is struggling to contain the raw energy of your talent," Doctor Elara explained. "Without proper cultivation, the qi and blood circulation accelerates, burning through your life force like you used a forbidden technique."

The young man felt a chill run down his spine. "Can you help me?"

Doctor Elara nodded. "We can slow the process, but a permanent solution requires you to cultivate. Your talent must be honed, and your qi and blood balanced."

Hope flickered within the young man. "Is it possible to reverse the damage?"

Doctor Elara's expression turned grave. "I fear not. The loss of lifespan is irreversible. However, with proper cultivation, you can extend your lifespan and potentially stabilize your talent."

The System screen's countdown lingered in the young man's mind:

2 hours 10 minutes

2 hours 5 minutes

With newfound determination, he asked, "Where can I buy a cultivation technique?"

Unbeknownst to the young man, the premature awakening of his talent was the very reason the young miss had intervened in his fate. She had recognized the potential within him, but also the danger it posed. His unbridled talent could either prove a valuable asset or a catastrophic liability.

Intrigued, the young miss had opted for an indirect approach. She would guide him from the shadows, utilizing her vast network of spies and informants to nudge him toward specific tasks and objectives.

By doing so, the young man would, in effect, be working for her, unaware of the strings being pulled behind the scenes. The young miss would reap tenfold benefits if he succeeded in eliminating certain problems and competitors, all while maintaining plausible deniability.

Her plan was a delicate balancing act. If the young man discovered her involvement, he might rebel or, worse, become wary of her true intentions. No, it was essential to maintain the illusion of coincidence, allowing him to believe he forged his own path.

As the young man sought medical attention at the Guild, the young miss's agents whispered in the ears of key individuals, shaping the circumstances to her advantage.

Doctor Elara, aware of the subtle manipulation as one of the agents, provided her genuine expertise to the young man. Her words, laced with concern, echoed in his mind: "Your talent must be honed, and your qi and blood balanced."

At the Guild, Doctor Elara, one of the young miss's agents, provided her expertise with a mix of genuine concern and calculated intent.

With time running out, Doctor Elara revealed a glimmer of hope.

"You can find cultivation techniques at the Merchant Guild on the Westside," she said, her voice measured. "But I fear you may not make it in time."

Meanwhile, the young miss observed from afar, her calculating gaze assessing the young man's potential as he would walk a path that promised issues upon cultivation as even normal people avoid cultivating it above the mortal 72 refinements realm. Would he prove worthy of her investment? Only time would tell.

In the shadows, her agents awaited their next instructions, poised to guide the young man toward his destiny – and hers.

The System screen's countdown continued, a constant reminder of the young man's precarious situation:

1 hour 59 minutes

1 hour 58 minutes

As the clock ticked down, the young man's fate became increasingly entwined with the young miss's hidden agenda. Would he uncover the truth behind her machinations, or remain a pawn in her game of power and deception?

The young man's desperation grew.

Doctor Elara proposed a deal, her eyes locked on his.

"I can provide a pill extending your life by three days and offer cultivation techniques, along with weapon techniques – dagger and archery, for now. In return, you'll sponsor your cultivation by completing tasks for me."

The price of survival weighed heavily on the young man. Driven by desperation, he agreed.

"I accept," he said, resolve etched on his face.

With the deal struck, Doctor Elara handed him a small, delicate pill after searching from her shelfs and stock

"Swallow this, and you'll have three more days," she said. "Use this time wisely."

The young man took the pill, feeling a surge of energy and a fleeting sense of hope.

His fate now entwined with the young miss's hidden agenda, the young man had become a pawn in her game of power and deception. Unaware of the true nature of his predicament, he was left to navigate the treacherous path laid before him.

Doctor Elara's expression transformed, her warm demeanor giving way to a cold, calculating gaze. She handed the young man a small, intricately carved wooden box.

"Your cultivation techniques, dagger and archery manuals, and a room in the Mercenary Guild quarters," she stated, her voice devoid of emotion. "You have three days to master the basics. Fail, and your life will be forfeit."

With those words, she turned and disappeared into the shadows, leaving the young man alone to ponder his situation.

In a secluded chamber, Doctor Elara notified a mysterious figure, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity.

"The test has begun. This investment's worth will soon be revealed."

The figure remained silent, its presence palpable despite the darkness.

"The technique imparted to him is the 'Echoes of the Heart,'" Doctor Elara continued. "A martial and divinity cultivation method, harnessing emotions and desire. Amplified, they will fuel his ascent – or descent."

A faint, knowing chuckle echoed through the chamber.

"Should he successfully cultivate to the Mortal 72 Refinements Realm he will have a chance to show his potential, he will have to reach the 36 Divine Streams Realm after that," Doctor Elara said. "There, his true potential will be revealed."

The mysterious figure stirred, its presence unfolding like a dark, velvety cloak.

"We shall observe his progress," it whispered, the voice like a winter breeze. "If he proves worthy, his emotions will become a razor's edge, cutting through the young miss's enemies as a pawn."

As the conversation faded into darkness, the young man, oblivious to the stakes, delved into the wooden box's contents. The cultivation technique, dagger, and archery manuals lay before him, radiant with an otherworldly glow.

With each passing moment, the countdown continued:

2 days 25 hours 40 mins

2 days 25 hours 39 mins

The young man's journey had begun, his fate hanging precariously in the balance. Would he unlock the secrets of the Echoes of the Heart, or succumb to the crushing weight of his own desires?

Chapter :The Unseen Bond Forms

In the vibrant kindergarten classroom, a live reality show broadcasted the interactions of its three-year-old stars. The Enigmatic Boy, with an adult thought process, navigated this world with calculated precision.

As he watched the Class Representative, he thought: _This one has potential. Natural leadership, emotional intelligence, and influence. I'll cultivate her loyalty, make her an ally._ he said after assessing he emotional responses

"Hey, wanna be friends?" the Enigmatic Boy asked, his voice gentle and reassuring.

The Class Representative's face lit up with a smile. "Yay! Friends!"

_Perfect,_ the Enigmatic Boy thought. _She's receptive. Now, let's build trust._

Together, they worked on puzzles, their tiny hands touching as they exchanged pieces. The Enigmatic Boy's touch sent a warm sensation through the Class Representative's fingers, calming her nerves.

Charlotte, with a shy yet determined gaze, approached the duo. "What's going on?"

The Class Representative turned, her smile faltering. "Puzzle!"

Charlotte's eyes narrowed slightly. "You're good at puzzles."

The Enigmatic Boy shrugged, his expression neutral. _Time to reinforce my influence._ "Just lucky, I guess."

As the group conversed, the Enigmatic Boy calculated the dynamics, subtly manipulating conversations to reinforce his bond with the Class Representative.

"Hey, Class Rep, partner up?" the Enigmatic Boy asked, his voice low and persuasive.

The Class Representative's heart skipped a beat. "Yeah!"

_She's mine now,_ the Enigmatic Boy thought, his grip on her emotions tightening.

Charlotte's eyes narrowed, sensing a shift. "I thought we were playing together."

The Class Representative hesitated, loyalty torn. "Sorry, Charlotte. Maybe next time."

As the group dispersed, the Enigmatic Boy's influence solidified. The Class Representative remained oblivious, her trust growing.

The Enigmatic Boy smiled inwardly. _Phase one complete. Now, let's shape her into the perfect tool for points._

And so, the game began.
