Chapter 4 - After few days 2

Eugene woke up the next morning to find Paul and his men already hard at work. Everyone was organizing and distributing tasks based on Eugene's instructions before he went to sleep.

Eugene, who was used to living alone, found himself now in a community full of people who depended on him. It was strange, but he felt a great sense of responsibility.

"Paul, let's start building the walls to protect the place. We can use the wood and stones available in the forest," said Eugene, pointing to the area where the walls should begin.

While the men built the walls, the women began gathering edible herbs and plants based on Eugene's instructions. The children were helping with simple tasks and fetching water from the nearby river.

As days passed, the village began to take shape. The walls grew stronger, and the huts became safer. Eugene led everyone with the help of , teaching them how to make tools and use resources more efficiently.

One night, while they were sitting around the fire, Paul began talking about the past.

"Mr. Eugene, can you tell us more about the place you came from? Is it like this place?"

Eugene sighed a little and looked at the fire.

"The place I came from was full of tall buildings and technology. We didn't live in fear of monsters or nature. But now, I am here, and I feel that this place can become a new home for all of us."

Everyone listened attentively. There was a feeling of respect and appreciation for Eugene. He was the one who saved them and was leading them towards a better life.

In the following days, Eugene and Paul started planning for bigger projects. They decided to build a farm for raising animals and growing crops. They knew that relying solely on hunting wouldn't be enough for survival.

Over time, the village became a thriving small community. Everyone worked together, and they had common goals. Eugene became an integral part of this community and felt proud of what they had achieved.

But one day, a child came running towards Eugene and Paul.

"Someone has appeared!" shouted the child.

Eugene and Paul exchanged looks, then stood up quickly.

"Let's see what's happening," Eugene said firmly.

----------

Suddenly, an elf with long ears and golden hair appeared, cautiously surveying the area around him. Eugene and Paul exchanged cautious glances as they watched him from behind a tree.

"Do you think he could be friendly?" Paul whispered.

"I don't know, we should be careful. We don't want to start any conflict," Eugene replied.

The stranger seemed to be searching for something or perhaps fleeing from something. Suddenly, he turned directly towards the tree behind which Eugene and Paul were hiding.

"I know you are there. You have nothing to fear from me. Please, show yourselves," he said in a calm and composed voice.

Eugene hesitated for a moment, then slowly emerged from behind the tree, raising his hands to show he posed no threat. Paul followed cautiously.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Eugene asked.

"My name is Loran. I am from the Elven tribe. I did not know there were humans in this area," Loran said sincerely.

Eugene looked at Paul, then back at Loran.

"We are here trying to build a new city. We fled the chaos outside and found this place safe. We didn't know there were other tribes here," Eugene said.

Loran smiled gently.

"That's interesting. My tribe lives nearby. I am here on the Queen's orders to find a safe place. Perhaps... perhaps we can cooperate," he hesitated at the end.

This place was the safest. He couldn't easily give it up.

Eugene felt comfortable with Loran. He could see the sincerity in his eyes. This alliance could be very beneficial for both sides.

"Alright, Loran. We are ready to cooperate. Let's make this land a better place for everyone," Eugene said with a smile.

[Starting to act wisely]

Loran smiled in return and began explaining more about his tribe to Eugene and Paul.

"If this alliance succeeds, I will relinquish my throne to the Queen. Finally, I can rest," Eugene thought to himself.

Eugene and Loran exchanged conversation as they walked towards the shelter. Paul walked beside them, listening attentively to what the elf stranger was saying.

"Tell me, Loran, what is life like in your tribe?" Eugene asked with curiosity.

"We live in harmony with nature. We rely on hunting and farming, maintaining the balance of the environment around us. Each member of the tribe has their unique role and contributes to the community in various ways. We respect the land and preserve its secrets," Loran replied.

"It seems we have a lot to learn from you. We are trying to build a new city here, but we face many challenges," Eugene said.

"I'm sure you will succeed. Cooperation between humans and elves can achieve great things. I would be happy to share our knowledge with you and help you adapt to this environment," Loran said with a smile.

When they arrived at the shelter, Loran looked around with admiration at what they had accomplished so far. The huts and walls showed that the small community was building itself seriously.

"You've done a great job here. I can see the determination in everything you do," Loran said.

"Thank you, Loran. We are doing our best. Let me introduce you to everyone," Eugene said.

Eugene began introducing Loran to the members of the community, explaining to them about the new alliance that would make their lives safer and more prosperous. Everyone felt optimistic and excited about the idea of cooperating with the elves.

In the following days, Loran began teaching the humans how to use medicinal herbs and cultivate crops in a way that preserves the soil. He helped them understand the surrounding environment better and how to utilize it in sustainable ways.

The community began to grow and thrive thanks to the new knowledge Loran provided.

This was just the beginning of a new era of cooperation between humans and elves, where everyone worked hand in hand to build a strong and sustainable community in the heart of the forest.
