Chapter 17 - Chapter 17

Kiyara

I was surprised at first to see one of the men that saw me at the brothel. Of course, one of them has to be close to Ezekiel to show him an unpopular brothel. His name is Mark, and he is really fun to be around. Well, Nigerians would say, "He get vibes."

He reminds me of Ariel, who was supposed to accompany me along with Bella. However, Bella said I needed a spotlight for announcing new projects so people could really know who K is in K-Jewels.

Ezekiel got down from the limousine, took my hand, and followed right after me, with Mark behind us, smiling and waving at the paparazzi at the conference hall.

I slowly climbed onto the small stage with Ezekiel, who looked like a gentleman—a very attractive one. People started taking pictures of us and asking questions.

"Are you guys dating?"

"What is the reason for the sudden announcement?"

"Are you forming an alliance?"

"How did E-Tech and K-Jewels come together?"

"What are you planning on doing?"

I struggled to say anything at first but took a deep breath and finally spoke up, which made the room go quiet.

"Hello everyone, you all know me as K, but my name is Kiyara. My two years of being a jewelry designer have been splendid. I love the way you supported me and my co-workers during all our hard days of making majestic jewelry. We will continue to deliver exceptional work. As for the reason for the sudden announcement, E-Tech and K-Jewels decided to come together for a big project, much like the LDR bracelet..."

After my long speech, the press began asking their predictable questions again.

"Are you guys dating?"

"Was it your love for each other that inspired this masterpiece?"

"Who is your bracelet connected to?"

"How did you meet?"

"Is there a possi—"

"Enough," Ezekiel said calmly, and strangely enough, everyone obeyed him and stopped talking.

"First of all, yes, we are dating." Ezekiel held my hand, and I was so embarrassed. I was scolding him internally for telling the public something that was meant to be private. I bit my lip while tapping the side of my lap with my index finger.

"And her bracelet is connected to mine. We are not here to talk about us; we are here to talk about our new product. So please stop asking personal questions. My girlfriend doesn't feel comfortable with it," he said, almost struggling to say "please," and I glared at him.

We answered most of the press's questions, and I swear I could see Mark flirting with a reporter while Ezekiel kept his hands around my waist the whole time. When we were done, Ezekiel whispered into my ear, "Finally, you are all mine now," and pecked me. I thanked the Lord that they didn't see him doing that.

While I whispered to Kiyara, I saw Mark flirting with a member of the press. I left him at the conference and went ahead with Kiyara alone in the limousine. He would realize we were gone when he was done flirting, or he might not realize at all—I didn't really care.

"What about Mark?" Her concern for another guy annoyed me a bit, but I forced a smile.

"He will find his way," I said as the limousine started moving. Kiyara was quiet, probably thinking about what I said to the press.

"Why did you have to tell the press?" she asked, looking at me confused.

"We are dating, aren't we?" I asked.

"Yes, but it doesn't have to be public," she said shyly.

"Well, if I didn't tell them, some of them might try to hit on you, and we both know what I'm capable of," I said with a relaxed smile. She frowned.

"You are unreasonable," she said, looking out the window. I chuckled and took her wrist, pulling her towards me. It was sudden, and she looked at me with wide eyes.

I traced her curves with my long fingers, and she closed her eyes, inhaling and exhaling heavily. I kissed her neck and nibbled on it, making her moan softly.

The sound of her moaning was something I loved to hear. After a few minutes, she looked flushed. I held her chin and drew her closer for a kiss.

"Stay at my mansion... please," I whispered the last word into her ear, feeling goosebumps on her skin.

"No, I need to go meet Ariel and Bella, and Mark might be around—"

"Forget about them," I cut her off, resting my head on her shoulder. "Let it just be the two of us."

"But we need to sell our product with the help of Ariel and Bella, love," she whispered. I looked at her and sighed in defeat.

We stopped at her penthouse, and I walked her to the front door. She tiptoed and kissed me on the lips, making me smile on my way back to the car.

I reached my mansion and saw that Mark wasn't home, likely busy with one of the reporters. I freshened up and changed into a more comfortable outfit. As I watched the news about our new product, I dialed Kiyara's number. She picked up right away.

"Been waiting for my call, oxygen?" I smirked.

"What do you think, soul?" I heard her charming voice over the phone and chuckled.

"I miss you. I can't bear it. I'm coming over," I said, grabbing my car keys and standing up.

"No," she replied.

"Why?" I asked immediately.

"Because missing me doesn't mean you have to come over," she said. I sighed and agreed with her, then cut the call. I immediately went to my computer room to watch her from the CCTV cameras.

Even after telling her about them, she hadn't gotten rid of the cameras. She probably forgot about them. I smiled as I watched her cover her mouth and try to stop herself from blushing.

Then I got a call from Mark.

"Bruh, you left me," he complained.

"Find your way," I said coolly.

"Oh, I will, and I hope you won't be too upset knowing my way is towards your girlfriend's house," Mark said, making me immediately get up from my seat.

"Try me, Mark," I narrowed my eyes. I heard his annoying laugh over the phone, which made me cut the call. I changed my joggers to black cargo pants, put on a shirt jacket, white ankle-length sneakers, and entered my Ferrari.

I stopped at Kiyara's penthouse and immediately went in to see Mark talking to my girl, laughing and talking. Seeing him laugh made me angry, and I immediately headed toward him to throw a punch.

"Stop!" Kiyara said, holding a tray filled with cupcakes. "What are you doing, Ezekiel?" I dropped my hands and glared at Mark's amused face.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, anger evident in my voice.

"Wow, I've never seen Ezekiel like this. Guess you really changed him," Mark spoke to her, making me mad. Suddenly, I felt her arm around me.

"Don't hit him. He came because he needed a friend," Kiyara said. I looked down at her with a what? face. She looked up at me, and I faced Mark, who was smirking.

"Since Ezekiel didn't appreciate my arrival and certainly doesn't want to talk to me, I decided to visit you, Kiyara, and now he's angry about it," Mark said, acting like a victim.

"Get out of here before you get disfigured," I threatened him. Kiyara frowned.

"No, he must stay. He needs to taste my cupcakes."

"Yeah," Mark added.

"He doesn't deserve something sweet, darling. Remember, I told you to only make food for me," I said with a slight frown. Mark covered his mouth, trying to hide his laughter. Kiyara looked as if she just remembered.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Ezekiel. I forgot. I felt bad about how you treated him and wanted to make him feel better—"

"You don't try to make other men feel better, Kiyara. I want all your love and care." I looked at her sternly and saw Mark about to take a cupcake. He froze when he saw my glare.

"Yo, bestie! I smelled something nice—" Ariel stopped talking when she looked at the people in the kitchen.

"What is going on here?" she asked slowly, walking towards us along with Bella.

Kiyara

"Uhm, I just finished making cupcakes. Wanna try them?" I asked with a bright smile. Ariel nodded happily, and we all went to the living room. I sat beside Ezekiel on one sofa because I didn't think he would like it if I sat with somebody else.

Ariel sat beside Bella, and Mark sat beside Ariel on a large sofa.

"Wow, nice cupcakes, Kiyara. You have magic hands," Mark said, looking into my eyes. I returned a kind smile to him. "Thank you, Mark."

"And who is he?" Bella asked, looking at Mark, who choked on his cupcake. When I was about to give him some water, Ezekiel stopped me and said, "Let him choke." I scoffed and frowned at him, and Mark got water from Ariel instead.

"Thanks, beautiful," he looked at Ariel and touched her fingers, making her blush. She immediately sat down again.

Then Ezekiel whispered to me, "If he did that to you, his fingers would have been barbecued." Then he took one cupcake and looked at me with narrowed eyes

Uhm, he is Mark, Ezekiel's—" "Best friend," Mark said with a smile, interrupting me.

"No, employee," Ezekiel said, looking at his cupcake. Mark nervously smiled at Ariel and Bella and told them, "He means an employee. You see, Ezekiel and I have known each other since we were little. His father and mine were best friends too, which brought us closer. I know most of his secrets and his likes and dislikes. I'm close to a big brother to him—"

He stopped when he felt Ezekiel's quiet glare.

"Oh wow, Ezekiel never mentions your name, Mark," Ariel said, looking at Ezekiel.

"Well, that's because he doesn't want to remember me. He'd miss me so deeply he would have to cry," Mark said while smiling at Ariel.

I let out a small laugh and looked at Ezekiel, who rolled his eyes.

"So where are you from, Mark?" Ariel asked.

"I was actually born here in California, but my parents are Russian. I work as Ezekiel's right-hand man. When he isn't around, it's like I'm the next boss. Then the one after me is John, his brother-in-law. I bet he also didn't mention him," Mark said, looking at Ezekiel.

Ariel said, "No, wait, do you mean John? Like John Kelfy?"

"Yes," Mark nodded.

"So that means Jasmine is your sister or sister-in-law?" Bella directed her question towards Ezekiel.

"Sister."

"He didn't tell us," Ariel said with a pout.

"I didn't think it was necessary," Ezekiel said.

"Yeah, I also knew, but I didn't think you guys would care about it," I said nervously, and Ariel patted her head and sighed at us.

"Don't worry, gorgeous. I will tell you about every single detail about Ezekiel King," Mark said flirtatiously, winking at her, and she blushed and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Why talk about me when you can talk about yourself, asshole," Ezekiel said and stood up, taking me with him inside my room. I felt embarrassed and apologized to them as I walked past them.

"I think he is right. Wanna know about me, ladies?" Mark brought out a smirk, showing his shiny white teeth.

"What are you doing, Ezekiel?" I whisper-yelled at him in my room.

"It was getting boring, and I needed you really badly," Ezekiel traced my lips with his smooth fingers.

"Ezekiel, you know you can't just take me away from them like that. Mark was in the middle of a conversation." "Fuck Mark," he said, not caring about his friend. He carried me up, making my legs wrap around his waist and my hands around his neck.

"People are downstairs." "I don't care," he whispered. "See how hard I am right now, baby? Do you really want me to care?" He raised an eyebrow, and before I knew it, he had already shifted my thong to the side. I gasped and widened my eyes at the sudden action.

"I need you now," he said beside my ear, which gave me goosebumps. He released his d*ck and, without warning, placed it in. I almost screamed, but he immediately pushed my head towards his shoulder, muffling my screams.

"Ezekiel, it hurts! I don't think it will fit, please," I almost cried, and he groaned and said,

"It will fit. It was made for me, baby."

He then started thrusting inside me as I moaned and let out muffled screams.

"Yes, take it all in like a good girl." His thrusts were slow so I could adjust to his size. When I did, he smiled and said,

"See, you fit just right."

I moaned in response. I don't know if that triggered him, but he started moving faster and faster until we both came, breathing heavily and panting in unison.

I bit his shoulder, and he chuckled and said,

"Sorry, oxygen."
