Third person POV
Later at night, back at their campsite, Roxas and his friends were eating their simple, slightly spiced-up meal with convenience store food. Roxas included dark chocolate bars and canned cold coffee as well. As his friends eat and drink, Roxas shared with them what went down last June 12 in every detail from morning to noon, much to their surprise.
"Wait, so you're saying that there was a tower that was way taller than the Tokyo Tower?" Shuto asked him.
Roxas then nodded. "Yes."
"Amazing…" Minato was amazed.
"And you only beat like 2 floors only?" Koyuki asked Roxas.
"Yes, and I think it was part of this game Sword Arts Online, too," Roxas answered back while thinking, "but that part was just a theory and a hypothesis for now."
After that, Minato shared to them about the achievement he had unknowingly unlocked after sympathizing with Hideyoshi for his untimely death in the game, as well as the spot where Hideyoshi died. Roxas knew that achievement and said to him, "That one is called Sympathy for the Dead Player."
"Woah, you unlocked that one, too?" Minato was stunned with surprise.
"Yes, and for Anko's case, it was on a sidewalk back at Kanagawa Prefecture."
"Woah…that was quite crazy, to be honest."
"Yeah…"
Later, at 9:02 p.m., Roxas and his friends slept in their tents to wake up early tomorrow morning. So, the next morning, at 4:03 a.m., all of them woke up, packed up, made sure that there was no trash in their spot, and went back to the Kanagawa Ward by train. They did that to eat breakfast at 7 and go to school after dressing in their school uniforms. And then, after all that hassle of unpacking, eating breakfast, taking a short, quick shower, and dressing up for school, the four friends went to school at 7:54 a.m. At school, as the four youngsters settled down on their seats, their class announced an election for a new set of body of the Student Council. Roxas was surprised, while Minato and Shuto were interested in it. Koyuki, meanwhile, was shy about the possibility of being elected to the Student Council.
And so, everyone in class started voting for the potential candidates for president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and 2 officers for their classroom. Roxas was positive and optimistic about doing it, viewing it more like training to vote in a political election back in his home country once turning 21 years old. After a few minutes of voting, the results are in:
Shuto – President – 16 votes
Roxas – Vice-President – 20 votes
Minato – Secretary – 14 votes
Koyuki – Treasurer – 15 votes
Another student candidate – First Officer for Class1-A – 17 votes
Arashi – Second Officer for Class 1-A – 16 votes
The number of votes is the most for a student candidate to be elected for a specific position.
Upon seeing the results on the whiteboard, Roxas and his friends, alongside Arashi and others, were stunned at this. Koyuki was now anxious about her new position as treasurer for the Student Council. Roxas was doubtful about his, slightly higher position as Vice-President, while Shuto was surprised that he had achieved the highest position in the Student Council. And so, when the results had been finalized, Roxas and the other elected students for the new Student Council had no choice but to accept it and vowed and pledged into office with a promise to do their best in doing their jobs in the Studeny Council.
At the same time, some of the students in their class managed to become official players of the game thanks to Roxas and his friends telling them how to do it, removing their NPC status from them. Also, back at the Tower, the Elite Players had found out about the results of the election for the new Student Council body at the Kanagawa International Academy, much to their surprise and chagrin.
