...

On the sandy shores of the coastal city of Soufrabi, Airmid, Mellie, Gabriel, and Biscuit were enjoying a lively game of volleyball. They had set up a net and were fully engrossed in their match.

Meanwhile, not far from the beach, under the shade of a cluster of trees, Mika sat cross-legged, eyes closed, focusing on his internal state.

"After all this training, my Nen ability 'Growth' is finally showing its effects."

He slowly opened his eyes, assessing the improvements in his Nen abilities, a sense of satisfaction washing over him.

Although his Growth ability was still at Rank I, his continuous training had significantly enhanced his control and manipulation of Nen, resulting in a considerable boost in his overall power.

Leaning back against the tree trunk, Mika surveyed his surroundings and noticed an interesting sight.

Under the shade of a nearby tree, Gon and Killua lay sprawled on the ground, resting.

"What's wrong with you two?"

Killua glared at Mika, annoyed by his seemingly innocent question.

"Isn't it obvious? It's all thanks to those four women!"

The mere thought of their recent training sent shivers down Killua's spine.

The training methods devised by Gabriel and the others were far more demanding and excruciating than anything he had endured during his upbringing in the Zoldyck family, a renowned family of assassins with an unparalleled understanding of the human body.

While their family's training was rigorous, it didn't have any adverse effects on Killua's physical development. In fact, it had been beneficial.

However, Gabriel's training methods were different.

Their training prioritized rapid progress, subjecting Gon and Killua to relentless, brutal exercises designed to push their bodies to their absolute limits, even at the risk of permanent damage.

Biscuit, witnessing these methods for the first time, was initially furious.

She saw Gabriel and Mellie's approach as reckless and detrimental to the boys' development. She believed they were ruining two exceptionally talented individuals.

In her anger, she almost came to blows with Mellie.

However, after witnessing Airmid's miraculous healing abilities, Biscuit's anger quickly turned to astonishment.

She was amazed by the sheer power of Airmid's Nen, which allowed her to heal injuries effortlessly, without any apparent limitations.

The fact that such an extraordinary ability was being used to simply mend training-induced injuries seemed like a colossal waste to Biscuit.

However, in this particular situation, Airmid's power was invaluable.

After apologizing to Mellie, Biscuit joined the trio of instructors, contributing her own expertise to Gabriel's brutal training regime, much to Gon and Killua's dismay.

This made their training even more unbearable.

Upon learning the reason behind Biscuit's involvement, Killua silently cursed her enthusiasm.

She was simply too eager to participate.

As a result, the four trainers had become close friends, often spending their free time together, much like their current beach outing.

"Hehehe, if it's those three, you'll just have to endure it."

"That's not my problem!" Mika said with a playful grin, ignoring Killua's withering glare.

While Mika's decisions were usually final on important matters, in everyday life, the authority rested with Mellie, Airmid, and Gabriel.

In such situations, Mika's best course of action was to avoid conflict.

"Tch!"

Killua, with his staunchly masculine, almost stubbornly straightforward personality, clicked his tongue in disapproval.

Sensing Killua's judgment, Mika quickly changed the subject. "Although the process is arduous, the results are undeniable. You can feel it, can't you, Killua? That surge of power within you!"

"That's true," Killua admitted, sitting up abruptly and clenching his fists. A small smile crept across his face.

Just as Mika had said, his strength had increased dramatically in recent times.

Both his physical abilities and his Nen techniques had improved significantly.

He had even nearly perfected his own unique Nen ability.

Apart from these improvements, Mika had also taught him techniques for direct combat.

These techniques were vastly different from his usual assassination style, focusing on a straightforward, head-on approach.

According to Mika, it was a martial art called "Thunder Breathing."

It was a technique based on the Thunder Breathing Style from a world of samurai and demons, Mastered and perfected by the goddess Yahweh with elements from other worlds, culminating in a powerful, lightning-based martial art.

Gon had learned a similar technique called "Fire Breathing."

Mastering these techniques had greatly enhanced their ability to utilize their physical prowess.

"There you go. So, are you telling me you're afraid of pain?" Mika teased, noticing Killua's grimace.

"I'm not afraid of pain! I've been immune to it since I was a child!"

"But Gon..."

Killua turned to look at Gon, who was fast asleep on the ground, his expression filled with concern.

Just as he had said, Killua, having endured brutal training from a young age, wasn't afraid of pain.

But Gon was different.

He hadn't undergone such rigorous training.

Therefore, Killua worried about Gon's well-being.

Even with Airmid's healing abilities to mend his physical injuries, the mental anguish wasn't so easily erased.

Killua knew firsthand the toll such intense training could take.

"So, you're worried about Gon?"

Mika smiled and shook his head.

"You're overthinking it."

"What do you mean?"

Killua glared at Mika, demanding an explanation.

"I mean Gon is enjoying this."

"That's impossible! How can anyone enjoy that kind of torture?!" Killua exclaimed in disbelief.

"It's possible, because you're his friend," Mika replied sincerely.

"Friend...?"

"Yes. This training is undoubtedly painful and grueling, but you haven't complained much, have you? That's because of your extreme tolerance to pain, honed through years of training."

"So, when Gon sees your reaction, it makes him happy."

"Because he's experiencing what you went through."

"What I went through...?"

Killua's gaze softened as he looked at Gon, his expression a mixture of surprise and understanding.

---

"Gon!"

Killua's gaze softened as he looked at his sleeping friend.

He would never forget the boy who had led him away from his family and into a world of adventure.

"Hmm?"

Roused by Killua's voice, Gon stirred from his slumber, rubbing his eyes sleepily as he looked up at his friend.

Seeing Gon awake, Killua quickly schooled his expression, feigning indifference.

"Nothing. It's almost time for training. We haven't finished today's session yet."

"Oh, right," Gon replied, stretching languidly and letting out a contented yawn. He hopped in place, loosening his muscles.

"Alright, I'm ready! Let's continue our training!"

"Come on, Killua! Let's go find Airmid and the others!"

"Yeah, let's go."

Gon and Killua headed towards the beach, ready to resume their rigorous training.

"Such a beautiful friendship," Mika murmured, watching their retreating figures.

They were truly a remarkable pair.

This is a ship I'm totally on board with. No one can stop me! Mika thought to himself with a mischievous grin.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Mika refocused on his own situation.

"I've made considerable progress In Level 4, and both Mellie and Airmid have recently reached the peak of Level 3. They can't improve any further at their current level."

"While they can still Master their martial arts and strive higher, their progress has significantly slowed."

"It seems I need to find suitable targets for them to level up."

Mika pondered the various worlds he knew and the potential challenges they offered.

Muzan, the demon king from the Demon Slayer world, was no longer a suitable opponent for Mellie and Airmid.

In the Type-Moon world, after the conclusion of the Holy Grail War, the only remaining suitable adversaries were the Dead Apostle Ancestors.

However, those individuals either possessed immense power, commanded vast influence, or were incredibly elusive.

In short, they were difficult targets.

As for the Hunter x Hunter world, the most suitable opponents were the soon-to-be-born Chimera Ant King and his Royal Guards.

However, the Ant King's birth was still some time away.

Moreover, Mellie and Airmid might not be strong enough to defeat the Royal Guards.

Those creatures were true monsters.

Rather than considering them as opponents to be defeated at Level 3, it might be more prudent to wait until Mellie and Airmid reached the peak of Level 4 and use them as stepping stones to Level 5.

"Considering all this, it seems the most suitable targets for their Level 4 advancement are in either the Danmachi world or a new world entirely."

"In any case, leaving the Hunter x Hunter world is inevitable."

"So, once we've dealt with Genthru and completed Greed Island, we'll return."

Having decided on their next course of action, Mika closed his eyes and resumed his Ren training.

Thanks to Gabriel's optimization, the effects of his Ren had become even more potent.

This indirectly accelerated his and his companions' progress.

"Let's continue!"

Mika immersed himself in his training once more.

...

A month and a half passed quickly.

During this time, Gon and Killua's abilities improved drastically.

Overcoming numerous obstacles and challenges, they had finally reached a level where they could contend with Genthru and his companions.

Gon, in particular, had closed the gap between his and Killua's abilities thanks to his improvement in martial arts.

Under Gabriel's guidance, they had both developed their Nen abilities, further enhancing their power.

Amidst the pain and exhilaration of their rapid progress, Gon and Killua seemed to have forgotten their initial goal, completely absorbed in their training.

One day, as they continued their rigorous training, a sudden flash of light pierced through the sky and landed before them.

Instantly, Gon and Killua assumed defensive stances.

They both recalled their previous encounter a month ago.

Genthru, the Bomber who had mocked their weakness.

However, as the light dissipated, it wasn't Genthru and his companions who stood before them, but Tsezguerra, the Single-Star Hunter who had previously assessed their abilities.

The star ranking system was a way to acknowledge a Hunter's accomplishments.

The Hunter Association had established the Ten Hunter Commandments.

The fifth, sixth, and seventh commandments outlined the star ranking system.

Fifth Commandment: Hunters who accomplish a feat in a particular field are awarded a single star.

Sixth Commandment: A senior Hunter who fulfills the requirements of the Fifth Commandment and serves as an executive is awarded a double star when a junior Hunter they have mentored achieves a star ranking.

Seventh Commandment: A Hunter who fulfills the requirements of the Sixth Commandment and achieves significant feats in multiple fields is awarded a triple star.

Every Hunter had their chosen prey.

Therefore, Hunters were categorized based on their specialization, such as Bounty Hunters, Crime Hunters, Treasure Hunters, Gourmet Hunters, and so on.

The classifications varied depending on their chosen field of expertise.

Only those who had achieved significant accomplishments in their chosen field could become Star Hunters.

Therefore, every Star Hunter was a renowned figure.

Biscuit Krueger, for example, was a celebrated Double-Star Hunter.

Her chosen prey was precious gemstones.

Tsezguerra was a Single-Star Bounty Hunter.

"Oh, it's Tsezguerra!"

Gon waved excitedly, greeting the Hunter with a bright smile.

"Long time no see, Gon, Killua!"

Tsezguerra returned their greeting with a friendly smile, as if they were old friends reunited after a long absence.

Killua, however, hadn't forgotten how Tsezguerra had eliminated them during their Nen ability demonstration.

"So, what brings you here, Tsezguerra?"

Tsezguerra didn't seem offended by Killua's blunt question. Instead, he let out a sigh of relief and asked directly, "Gon, Killua, are you willing to trade cards?"

"I need your 'Plot of Beach' card. If you're willing to trade, I'll agree to any terms."

"Plot of Beach? How did you know we have that card?"

Killua's expression turned serious.

And he says he'll agree to any terms. I wonder if he'd really give us all his cards if we asked, Killua thought skeptically.

"We heard it through a rumor, we expect most players will know about it soon."

Tsezguerra didn't bother hiding the source of his information.

"What's going on? Is this Genthru's doing?"

Although puzzled, Killua didn't hesitate.

He turned to Gon and said, "Let's go find Mika."
